Just played the demo. It EPIC NO ARSE!!!! The combat is so much faster than in the original. Graphics are around the same though. Little improvement there. You won't want to play part 2 before completing the first. The same went for Mass Effect. the improvements are so obvious that you won't want to go back.

gameplay as a mage is really awesome in this one. having some issues with area of effect spells though, for some reason Im not getting them. Never had an issue like that in original though.

Otherwise this is a marked improvement, especially in combat. Played it as a mage and a warrior. will try rogue another time.

actually i think this story is happening simultaneously with DA1. at least that sequence. it happens during the events of part 1 and beyond.

game seems to be something of a dissapointment overall

not an improvement save visuals, and (for some) the combat system

I downloaded both the PS3 and PC demo.

Visually it looks good on the PS3, as for the PC it looks very similar to the PS3 which is a bit of letdown for a current PC title.

The PS3 demo had no framerate drops like DA1. It plays far better imo.
The PC version I found the combat to be changed up bit which I did not like.
I prefer how it plays on consoles and other than the resolution difference I couldnt see any graphical difference between the PC and PS3. The PC had the same low res textures as the PS3.

Basically as a sequel its a step up for PS3 and a slight step down for PC.

actually there is a high resolution texture pack that was released yesterday, not to mention DX11 features, which were wonky in the demo, but work decent enough in full version.

so visually pc is still king.

for the full game though not the demo.
