I played ace combat 3 or 2 on the ps1 and i loved it i might get this one for the ps3

I could not stand to play another flight combat game after playing ACE Combat 5...
Nothing came up to the experience.. I really hoping that this does

Had to settle for HAWX when 360 got Ace6 exclusive.
Finally it returns to PlayStation.

Doomtack...you're on your own with that one.

Ace Combat 4, 5, 6 and 0 (yes, there's a '0') are still the very best flight combat games on consoles. The only other 'franchise' that comes close is Lethal Skies...and yes, I've played them ALL.

Almost forgot Konami's Air Force Delta 1 and 2, which were ok, but nowhere near as good as Ace Combat.

...and as for actual 'simulation', Aero Elite: Combat Academy for the PS2 is bar none, the best on consoles. Of honourable mention is Aero Dancing 4 on Dreamcast.

The Ace Combat series has really set the console standard for truly enjoyable modern jet combat. I am pretty sure I saw choppers,
and some turret-gunning in that trailer. Bring it on, I say.

what i am saying is, After playing Ace Combat 5, i could not stand to play any other flight combat game, cus Ace Combat 5 made all others feel worthless..
In other words I LOVED ACE COMBAT 5!!1

OK, I guess I misread it. My apologies.

...but Ace Combat 4 had some pretty sweet missions. Especially the huge
aerial battle above the shuttle counting down to launch, and the attack on Stonehenge mission.

Memories... I played Ace 4 last year after so long and enjoyed it just as much as the first time!
That stonehenge mission was so fun and epic.

There was also Ace Combat X on PSP, that was a really worthy entry into the series. Loved it much.

I realize that they've abandoned the fictional country backdrop in favor of a real-world one. I like it.
