I passed through for a little bit with Ninja644 and was very impressed with entire setup. Spoke to Berserk, Wyatt and Crixx for a bit before checking out the rest of the expo and taking in a presentation on digital learning.

The thing that impressed me the most was them TVs, they were uber sweet. I want one of them displays yes.

yeah those Bravias are quite nice
But Ultima was having some problems with the fonts of all his games on the screens.. so thats an issue.

The support for the tournament and the event as a whole has been tremendous.

Yep, sadly that's Hyatt and Flow regulations in order to maintain crowd control.
The room will be opened up in an hour or so for public.

awesome event, I can't say enough about the support from staff, flow and GATTers alike. Too exhausted to make a proper post but rest assured, plenty pictures and updates from the floor soon come.

Well, I must say, today was pretty awesome.

We got a nice crowd for the SSFIV Tournament, and I saw a few familiar faces there as well. I was a bit disappointed that Flow made us put the kibosh on the TvC and the FIFA tournaments, but what can you do? Their places, their rules, I guess.

But really. It was a great experience, and I think we made a great impact on the people we catered to today. I'm looking forward to following up on that success, and we even got a couple of volunteers who want to join the team at this event.

Also, Wai-Wai. WOW. *wolf whistle*
Sorry if I'm being a nerd here, Wyatt, but she's the bee's knees.

I also got to go up on stage and be an utter HAM with Errol Fabien. Good times.

Well, looking forward to seeing how we could follow up on this. Needless to say, I was very impressed with everything.

I expected a few of hiccups in this. Plain talk bad manners, but the event was alot of fun. The guys who played Super Street Fighter IV provided alot of entertainment and unintentional laughter. The Tatsunuko vs capcom was my favorite part of that day. I didn't know jack about the controls...but playing Tekkaman Blade briefly and doing his sick arse moves kept me content. That and the nice cakes they gave out at the exit. Nice show

It'll be interesting to hear Flow's take on the whole 'My Liming Spot' experience.

From all accounts, it seems a lot of fun was had by all who visited. Of course,
we couldn't please everybody, but at least we were able to represent just how
kickass online gaming (and by extension, gaming in general) could be.

What surprised me the most, is the fact that there are a LOT of people out there
who have never even SEEN a PS3/Xbox/Wii, and literally laid eyes on one for the first time
when they visited the My Liming Spot.

Based on the overwhelming response, I am pretty sure that Flow may want to do something
similar in the future. Again, nuff props to them for having the foresight to host an event like this.

...and super ultra mega hyper props to you, my fellow GATTers for representing in such a big way.

To each and everyone, staff, and the members who came through to show their support, you guys are truly friggin awesome. Arcman (aka tournament on wheels (TM) LOL), Apprentice, Neo, Woody, Berzerk, W1n Crix Wyatt et all, yall really outdid yourselves. Wow. Never before have I been so proud to be a part of GATT and a gamer on the whole.

What we all achieved this weekend was truly groundbreaking and just provides a preview of what is possible when we pull together.

Guys, we are unstoppable. As Neo said, lets use the momentum to take us forward.

Flow, you and I are still not cool...at all...but ill be foolhardy to overlook the opportunity and exposure we got over the weekend. Well done flow. Now, if you can only approach the way you do your customer service half as enthusiastically as you did this event, you all will be golden.

Fellas, it was nice. Lets do it again soon.

All I have to say is:

GATT actually had something - Praise the Lord.
GATT had something great - Praise the Lord.
It was well supported - Praise the Lord.
I got to pull off one of my techniques in battle - Praise the Lord.
I met my GATT brothers - Praise the Lord.
I had an awesome time - Praise the Lord.

Sunday was a day I'll remember for a long time. Congrats to TeamBusFace. The Arimians did well. In fact, the only ppl to take out the East men were the East men, myself included, lol.

Great job, team. I look forward to many more.

Exactly.
Apart from the overall success, it was great reaching out to the "noobs" and really showing them the capabilities of the consoles combined with internet access. Seeing the smiles on everyone's faces when you showed them feature after feature after feature, and having people leave the booth, only to come back with more questions (their interest definitely peaked)...It's a great self accomplishment feeling for all of us to have educated people about the things we do and love.
