Now i think this was mentioned in a thread before, but iam posting it now, as iam going to go bake my old 8800gtx and also cause they updated the thread, with baking instructions for malfunctioning laptops as well.

Thats also of interest to me as i have an HP sit down dere that the video playing up on, so it might get ah guinea pig too.

The comments were hilarious though but that method of reviving a card is amazing.
I should revive my dead sound blaster card if I get the chance.

Ahh the good ole days of baking. Card didn't last too long after baking though :(

iam amazed that its working on laptops too

I have an 8800GTX at home that i intend on using
if it works
send me your 8800 as well
so i could get the double xp, before trying the laptop

worked perfectly on the 8800
This weekend ill try the laptop

Note though

i used my toaster oven instead... oven had too many pots in it

used a lower temperature and 8 minutes instead of ten
no damage, works perfectly

Actually did this already..multiple times...lol! worked like a charm.. but card only lasts for about two weeks before they od again tho.. baked an XFX 9800gt and an EVGA 8400GS.. nothin like the smell of burning plastic at 9pm in de night!!!

My old motherboard finally breathe away it's ghost. Is it possble to "bake" this as well and revive it for a lil while longer. had it for 6 years now  :crybaby2:
