I'm all hyped for this and all, I kinda thought they'd continue the series where the

original left off, instead of making a remake.

I believe that they are doing both. Remaking the original, while following the story moreso from the manga (saw skullnight in some of those trailers)
so it would encompass all of the original anime and continue from there.

Oh my freakin word!!! Just watch Arc I and all I could say is WOW. IT WAS EPIC!!! It spans from episode 2 to 10 of the tv series. the animation was mad and the CG stuff was very well done too. i doh business what any reviewer says. i'll most likely take it in again before Arc II comes out. an hour and change well spent. watch this now people!
