Noticed some people have blink problems, and some having no problems, just like with Flow

.
Here is the official thread for anything Blink problems, praises and discussions.
Those with great service could begin by posting some speedtests and pingtests.

Got it a couple months ago after 24/7 issues with Flow, been working nicely for my needs. Gaming is pretty much lag free, 2megs of bandwidth is joke nowadays but gaming performance is more important to me and so far its been working great for that.

It was running slow for some friends and i since about last week Wednesday(D'abadie, la Horquetta, Caroni, Chaguanes). It came back to the correct speed last night so GATTers should check their speeds again today.

Noone on this forum has screamed to the high heavens about tstt internet than I! I've had horror story like service and really stuck with them only cause Flow wasn't in the area. That being said i've also gotten relatively ok service, ping times and consistency as well. So to be fair things could be worse but they could be ALOT better. As it stands right now, lately the connection has been slowing to said 0.10Mpbs requiring a reboot of the modem to fix, sometimes repeated reboot. I fear I need a new modem (that could be another horror story in the making but i'll cross that bridge when I get there.

I switched to blink from flow. Even though it was 5mbs to 1mb

the ping for most games are better. Cable (Flow) has many repeater amplifiers enroute to its destinations, DSL is limited to a certain distance from the CO (central office) and thus may offer higher ping rates than cable (this is bad for gaming).

WEll it's BARELY past 10 and my ping to NYC is 300+ms and my connection speeds to NYC are less than 1Mbps with a 256k upload... THANX blink, THANK A $%^&ing LOT. I gonna get a FLOW link just for gaming oui and keep this mc TSTT connection as a backup or maybe just get rid of it altogether.

WAS moving like dial up in my area a while ago. Had to reboot modem twice.

Never got slowdowns like that since I got Blink back in 2008, hope i don't get this too regularly now.

Past few days(probably more since I was sweating so much mc game and didnt download for a long time) trying to download de anime I forgo to play all dem game I installed 2 weeks ago, only to get the slowest net speed I have gotten with blink in a long time. Wdmc really going on pings still good but download and upload gone to shit.

Yup, a few friends and family as well as myself are facing these crappy speeds from Blink. And whenever you call support, they jus tell u reset router, or settings... Which do not help at all!

I really getting fedup of it, the last month or more has been continuous downhill performance with Blink

For the fourth time since I had TSTT DSL (since 2006 - I think) well now blink entertainment thing

I got dial-up speeds last Friday night from 7-10pm the one Friday I home and want to use

the net damn tstt I really hope is the first and last time this happens!

That's horrible. What area are you living in?

Preston, also try that test to an international server. Like Fort Myers Florida or so.

Would be interesting to see the results.

Got an email from TSTT apologizing for performance issues with their broadband service and that speeds were slow.

Blink speeds have been horrible in the past few days plus their pings are over 400. I dont complain too much because the blink is my 256k backup line and last month and the month before I was getting anywhere between 1Mb to 5Mb. The high pings have been so for most of this year.

When I called them 2 days ago they said that they were having problems with the service and it is being fixed. I ended up trying the Blink fix(unplug your modem and plug it back in) and I am back to my 4mbit connection.

For the longest while i can't play Modern Warfare 2 online, now playstation store not even loading, my wirless moving like 56k this rel fretting me i paying for 10mbps. ah hope this get resolve soon, cannot handle no gaming christmas morning
