EA and Valve's relationship is very fragile, seems something happened recently between them that make one party hostile to the other and ultimately, made this deal fall through.

But I doh really business, be it steam, d2d, ea store, once I can get to play the dam ting, I happy.

Graphics are good, not Dirt 2 good but decent, gameplay is good arcade fun, again not asprecise and professional as Dirt 2 gameply. NFS is arcade so no biggie. I always liked the cops vs bad guys thing from the original Hot persuits. Only played a couple games so the jury is still largely out.

Id recommend taking in a trini trial before jumping in to see if it suits your fancy. Ill be hitting the online scene later see if I cant make some friends and hopefully enemies :D

Nothing wrong with it, just that as its not on steam where it can live with the rest of my recent games natively, might as well have the disc. Added a shortcut in steam so no biggie.

Good thing though, saved a chunk of money on a game thats apparently gonna flop very soon because of EA and their nonsense.

Nah im just saying EA making things bad for themselves by not launching it on steam. It will certainly hurt the game's uptake on the pc at the very least.

i test dis game out last night, was not impressed to say the least.
i then run dirt2 right after for direct comparison, and there wasnt any.

Graphics in dirt 2 superior.
I saw no way to set manual in NFS.
Doesnt natively support wheels (had to ratch mines to work, and it worked like shit)
They reward u for doing shit, want nos? run head first into ah man.
Interface feels sluggish compared to dirt2.
And did i mention d graphics fail?

D only good thing bout this game, is it has d NFS signature, which means, u feel like u going fast, and it easy to drive. If thats what u lookin for, NFS is for u.

If u want ah more comprehensive rich driving expereince, wihtout going overboard like Grand Turismo and  d others, dirt 2 is d marph. And with dirt 3 on d horizon, i good.

Will run dirt2 until 3 comes out. NFS was once d leaders in racing. Sorry to see that's no longer d case.

i did download the demo on ps3 so i go check it out there...

plenty ppl developing the games for console first and then porting it to pc... thats why some of them graphics so shitty and controls respond poorly etc

d controls dont jus responde poorly, d game official does not support gaming wheels :S
d force feedback, and steering in dirt so good, u feel like u driving ah car.

in nfs, d ratch i do, meh forcefeedback wheel feeling like juss rumble. no true force feedback.
on d ea forums ea themselfs say wheels not support, rel retarded.

And yes, it looks like console graphics, not pc, and i max everything out, AA AF d works.

PC gaming is in the state it in now because of me. Me, you and EVERYBODY who ever pirated a computer game. They see us as a bunch of pirates and it makes no business sense to bother to code a game from scratch when its just going to be pirated.

Still, in its damaged state, pc gaming experience is still head and shoulders above what any console can offer so we must support the industry as much as possible to prevent futher damage.
