You're right Berzerk... It really can't be compared to Uncharted. All that noxious gas from the Normandy's engine room must have addled you and TW's brains.

bah uncharted 3 boring compared to this. (to me) was actually 3/4 way through uncharted 3 and though good, epic just wasn't there. I've since put down uncharted 3, for Mass Effect and haven't looked back since.

With mass effect 3 hours pass like minutes. staple of a good game. Scale of this game, especially with characters u brought over from Mass Effect 1 right up to 3, and seeing how stuff changed in the world based on decisions you made throughout the three games, well I'm hard pressed to see any other game that offered that kind of experience.

As Win said different tastes. Love me some rpgs. love me some mass effect.

absolutely concur with zerk.

I had to force feed myself Uncharted.

Kept saying "this is a good game....this is a good game..." and making time to go play it. An hour or two at a time.

Not so with Mass Effect 3.

As he said, hours fly by like minutes and I have to rip myself from the chair to go do something else.

Good thing this wasn't an MMO. Imagine getting caught up in such a sci fi epic for 2 - 3 years. My productivity in the real world would fall to zero.

. With that said I finished download ME2, starting that as soon as i'm done with portal 2. Then on to ME3!!

I laugh. Do you know why I laugh? This is the same Sessler that baffingly gave Kingdoms Of Amalur, a 2.5, when the game received critical acclaim from across the industry.

Mr Sessler has lost a lot of respect in recent months, and dare I say, credibility as well.

I wouldn't be so quick to dick-ride his pronouncements.

no one is perfect arc (I find you quick to cast the first stone @ adam eh)

Kingdom was decent, enjoyed the demo....so maybe he made a bad call. Or just doesn't like the fantasy genre.

besides, I've been ranting about Mass Effect long before he made his announcement, so if anything, Adam is the one riding my sentiments and not the other way around, lol

@phoenix, yeah @ fears. It is streamlined and consolized. They've made it fool proof (none of which are good if you prefer a more challenging game) but that said.....it is still delivering on the goods all round. Story and writing are of the same quality as the previous outing and when it comes to RPGs, that's probably the most important part.

About 24 hours into the game.

I'll give it a premature 9.5 obliterated Destroyer Class vessels out of 10 at the moment.
