This game just provided the best 40 hours I've spent on my PC over the past decade.

You should've seen the hissy fit one of my friends through on an FB status I posted about how I need to play ME3 bad. All because he didn't like the ending, man was fighting me down with what seemed like every fiber of his being. Geez.

Still eagerly waiting to play this lol.

I have so many other games to finish... MGS4, Killzone 3, Uncharted 3, and Infamous 1/2 quickly come to mind...lol.
Heck... I even started Mass Effect 2, and probably played it for a hot 3 hours.

...and I know this will be a heavy distraction from schoolwork, so I'll leave it be till 'holidays'.

Boi idk nah and when I told him if he didn't like it thas his opinion and I may very well have a different one, man start to get on rel childish yes. I know this friend a long time eh but his responses were just surprising.

Prolly he built his expectations insanely high, thas all I can think of.

i think some fans of the series can't understand why go tru all that and then have it end the way it did. I think it had more to deal with

not sure how many hours in, but dam yo im enjoying this more than any Single player game ive played in awhile (only exceptions for me were Batman Arkham City and Witcher 2 and even these weren't as good)
Trying to play it in small increments to savour the experience (games of this caliber reaaaal hard to find nowadays)

trying to nitpick but it hard dread. And yea a few partners hated the ending, I could surmise how it ended from all the chatter, but Ill avoid considering it too much. Will see for myself.

Somehow I feel after I beat this, all my other unfinished games would just stay there collecting dust oui. the bar has been raised heavily.

No young and restless, bold and beautiful 1000 episodes scene here.

Trilogy, full stop.

Start a new story.

Shepard has done more than enough for the galaxy in his lifetime. What more they want from the man? Many many people sacrificed their lives to give this cycle a chance. What greater way to end Mass Effect 3 than by having the commander himself make the ultimate sacrifice to bring an end to the 50,000 year purge.

He's beat impossible odds every step of the way. The buck had to stop somewhere.

but that would have encouraged a Mass Effect 4 starring Commander Shepard. You know how publishers like to milk a franchise. Better they nip that in the bud one time.

although worse come to worse, they could do the old cerebus trick and re-create him from a fingernail or something. Even a VI like EDI implanted in a synthetic. That would be overdoing it. Hope they don't!
