GATT Goes to E3 and EVO 2012
« on: July 26, 2011, 06:25:36 PM »
Guys,

We are planning a trip for GATT to cover E3 2012 and EVO 2012

Teknoman, who has been to E3 several times, advises that the cost will be around TT$6000.00 to TT$8000.00 (all inclusive).

Please indicate your interest to attend by replying to this thread and we will continue to update you with the relevant info as the time draws near.

Be prepared to pay/book flights around February when the registration process begins.

This is a serious commitment so please only express interest if you are firm in your resolve to make the trip.

Skills with a camera and writing of reviews would be an asset.

Note, Valid Passport and US Visa required

Added.

Start saving from now. Got plenty time.

If you're short a few grand by then, could also look at taking a small loan.

Won't we need industry invites to get in? Or is that being organized for the few that will go?

So here's the plan. Give me a chance with this one.

We take a boat to Venezuela. (carry a fluent spanish speaker)

Hitch hike to Mexico. (Should take about a week or a lil more depending on our luck).

For food we have rotate every night who's gonna sell their body for cash or a meal.

Once we reach the boarder, make contact with the regularly crosser and help him with his "luggage" so he'll carry us across.

Then hitch hike to LA. We should have organized our passes with someone already and it'll be smooth sailing from there.

Same plan to get back home jus in reverse

Awesome and other ppl waiting on your PP intervew, I'd suggest calling Immigration again and see if you can get an earlier date for your interview. My date was carded for 2012 (I had called in 2010 initially) but I called again earlier this year and got through. All they do is give you a different date, don't have to supply any info again as you did already in your initial call.

I have my new passport since like Feb this year now so you may wanna call em up and see...

That's solid advice. Our date was set like sometime in late 2012 and a friend told us to call again and request an earlier appointment.

We got one in June 2011.

Definitely worth a shot.

Right so mine is better

First we kidnap Bear Grylls (survival specialist)

After coercing his trust we make a huge raft and set sail.

Through a brilliant ruse we make the public believe we are lost at sea when we have actually reached venezuela and are enjoying severly underpriced alco and women

During this time awareness of our loss @ sea grows, people mourn, we make the news in multiple regoins, months pass..

Going with the plan we hitchhike, get back on the raft and get rescued at one of arouba's  nearby resorts

As our amazing story makes us famous  in the region we humbly ask attendance and fare to e3 as thanks.

But on a more serious note, if we go to L.A will yall help me to find and smoke a 'Jeffery'
