Messiaah yuh come good there yes. We graduate from animated gif to youtube vids.

FCTT, we don't have a server up for BF3 anymore but will be rallying hard for Battlefield 4. Save your bullets for that. lol

On a more serious note, to keep things interesting (since none of us could compete with the top dogs in the benchmark arena now) we will be instituting some categories for the benchmark threads.

Value PC: Rigs costing up to US$750.00

Gaming PC: Rigs costing up to US$1500.00

Enthusiast PC: Rigs costing US$1501.00 and beyond

This should give more members a chance to have a shot at a top spot.

Current day market value will apply when the cost of a rig is put into question. Monitors / peripherals not included.

Only the contents of the system unit and cooling apparatus (yes Messiaah, that external deep freeze will count. lol)

Very good idea.
Although if a man rig just happen to cost 1501 ah think we could allow him in the mid category lol.

I always wanted a category for Mods/Looks, could probably make it poll based to determine the spots. Vote on who rig sexier. (Cable management, Mods, Paint Job, etc) Just a thought.

This would seem fair, also what about separating Single Cards from Multi-Card setups.

I think the price limits will cover single vs dual gpu setups. because there are single gpu solutions that can go toe-toe with multigpu setups. so I think both of those machines go be in the same range really.

If we separate it, go end up with potentially 4 sections per category, making potentially 12 Top 20 lists....

I say keep it to just 3.

agreed. Some single cards can deal with duals if they are in the same budget.

At the lower tiers, ballsy overclocking will be what separates the sheep from the goat.

Great concept with the aesthetics Messiaah. Have an upcoming competition that will auger well for that idea!
