The awesomeness of Koji Kondo music (which has been remastered from these tunes in the sequels afterward)

The first idea of light/dark world gameplay in the series.

Mind bending puzzles that work better in 2D than 3D( bet you ketch ya tail trying to figure out ice dungeon the first time eh, eh?)

As the Article said, involving story and characters being more lively.

Actual exploration! Could play brave and actually sequence break and really explore nearly all the map freely, also 2 worlds to warp between to get secrets.

Where else you learn the hard way to go buy HFC (Hyrule fried Chicken) instead of trying to make your own hm? and on both worlds?

For the real explorer/adventurer type, no assistant to hold your hand while questing (No Navi and No Fi) Figure things out on your own, like the Sign man's secret *Wink Wink*

These and more are my arguments for Link to the past being my best Zelda.

Oh yea, and it's the first time you get to interact with the most coveted prize in the series ( No you perverts, not Princess Zelda, i mean the Triforce) *Whadap cocoyea!*
