Dudes, which is the best ISP in Trinidad right now, something other than TSTT, with low monthly rates, roll over min, hassle free logon, can you all give me some options other than TSTT

P.S. I live in the Dabadie area

Well actually All ISP's are TSTT. The other ISP's are getting internet from dedicated TSTT lines. WOW and Rave are out of your area (big phone bill).
Maybe Carib might serve you, but I doubt it'll be any better. Same TSTT services.

tstt is the only internet service provider in tnt so it makes no sense thing like carib link an dem are all subsideries of tstt........

Carib link is the only isp not operating under tstt.

THey have their own dedicated frame relays from barbados or somewhere up the region,
They do not use tstt's bandwidth, but they are forced to use tstt's fone lines and they arent much better than tstt. Also i dont know if they serve up in de east.

THere prices arent so hot either.

almost all the companies(especially AT&T wanted to have their own servers but knowing tstt......they want AT&T to go under their servers since they already know everyone will pick up and leave tstt for AT&T

not only that tstt wants to buy a share from at&t(rumoured) so not only can at&t cell phones call tstt cell phones....but for tstt to get a ton of money every month from at&t for calling tstt phones but thats just a rumour
all and all if at&t gets there way so they wont be apart of tstt well high speed isp for alll

Actually, it's the other way around.

The Gillette ISPs (Carib-Link, Interserv and Cablenett) get their lines from TSTT. You can tell that as their DNS records are practically the same.

WoW, Rave-TT, OPUS, and Fibreline - in fact, every other ISP - use some variant of satellite uplink. No piggybacking off of TSTT bandwidth.

Here's my take on things...

TSTT majority owner = T&T gov't
TSTT profits = T&T ministers' bonuses
TSTT - AT&T market share = $0 bonus for T&T ministers

I don't think I *really* need to take the equations any further now do I?
