Well so far is only PS2 and XBox in the poll. I can't believe somebody vote XBox so fast.

Well yeah most Psyciatrists and Chiropractors are pretty expensive. I mean The violence in video games warps my mind and the sitting in one spot getting carpal tunnel..I NEED the help!!! I mean what did you think I was talking about? This IS a video game related thread right?

Well the way I see it the titles make the console. Dreamcast was a great ssystem, powerful for it's time but game developers defected and the titles suffered. XBox still doing catch-up to PS2 but the titles are mounting. It's interesting that a lot of developers are moving away from single console loyalty and cranking out great stuff for multiple consoles simultaneously ... in which case XBox might win out in the end.

All Microsoft has to do is shamelessly copy the PS2 controller for the XBox and they cookin with gas.

Dear God!!! Do ppl really still have to ask? PS2 has a hard drive last I was aware. I think it's needed for multiplayer games and can be used for saving and decreasing load times drastically for games. Getting one here though is a bit of a game in itself.

I think scaR made the most worthwhile contribution thus far, or at least, the most objective contribution...pros and cons for each, including the one he decided on. Quality post.

Personally, I'd go with the X-Box. Hell, I almost got one when I was in Canada a few weeks ago, too bad they didn't have them at the new US$150 price tag, otherwise I'd have grabbed it up...

the jap library for the gc is far from small! it outweighs all other libraries

not to get itnot another nintendo vs the world arguament but the games do make the console.

and nintendos moto has always been quality over quantity and they undoubtedly have the best 1st party games and designers.
