FYI digital install/download versions

XBOX - dont install play disc (so far there are LOD pops in game)

PS3 - Error code 80029546.

Just a heads up as this seems to be catching a lot of folks out.

If you are having trouble installing your preload, only getting as far as 14% before stopping you will need to delete the game and start again, only this time do not select 'Download in Background'

Let it download in the store and the install should be fine. It worked for me earlier today.

Seems to be UK only, but heads up for NA too (same build)

GTA IV was rubbish on current gen consoles, a blurry mess and laggy as hell. I can't see this being any better.

I'll wait for a PC version or get it for the PS4 if I don't have a choice.

I disagree, I thoroughly enjoyed gta iv on the 360, it was blurry or large at all.

Ok, maybe wasn't really as bad as I made it sound but having played the PC version before the console, it seemed that way to me.

GTA V though, I am impressed by what I am seeing. Aeropost screwed up my order and sent me a PS3 version instead of a 360 this morning. I'm hoping to have this sorted before weekend.

wasnt gta 4 terrible on pc at launch? took quite a few patches before it was playable. Liberty City was vastly improved though, so it seems Rockstar learnt their lesson.

I remember a lot of complaining about it being an unoptimised port and a couple other issues but can't remember exactly what they were. My PC handled it fairly well even though I was still running an nvidia 8800GT. I upgraded shortly after release. My Experience at launch wasn't too bad though and I don't remember having any major issues.
