Water cooling to be determined still

ASUS RIVE 2011 board
Intel Core i7 3930k
16GB Corsair Vengeance
120gb SSD
AMD HD 6990 ( changing soon )
Rosewil 1000w PSU ( temp )

LOADS of cable management items from amazon by NZXT

Ideas thus far:

Case will be painting over completely. The front red parts will be matte blacked and red stripped.
Inside will be blacked out completely as well as cable management done right down to the power button cable. Will be following the RED and Black Theme with UV reactive green coolant in clear tubing for the WC part.
Under the board will be lined with SMD LEDS for a glow when the PC is powered on.

regular 20$ can of matte black

its how you apply it.

mist.. can is approx. 1.5ft away from the object, also not spraying continuously.

Well here is a small update:

GAVE THESE THEIR FIRST COAT

LEFT THOSE TO DRY AND TAPED THESE OFF IN THE MEAN TIME

THEN BACK PAINTING AGAIN.. CHERRY RED INSERTS >> LOOKS PALE, JUST FIRST PRIMER COAT

STARTED ON THE HARDEST PIECE. WHICH ALSO TOOK 1/2 CAN OF PAINT!

Left all those to cure extra long due to the fact they will be the fore most part of the case being handled, need the paint layers cured evenly so if it gets dinged, the original red wont show up.

I tried this myself on my CM690 but I had no exp. painting, neither were the guides online any help.

Painted the plain grey/silver parts of the case black so that it would look almost like the newer CM690 II... the paint flaked almost immediately, even after coating with primer and spraying twice.

I guess my technique was flawed; I'm too lazy to do it over though

I have five touch up work on my haf 932 and thermaltake soprano both with good results. If the paint flaked I'd suspect 1 of 2 things: poor case surface to begin with or bad paint.

If you ever need that help again. This is what you do:

1. Make sure you surface to be painted is clean from dust. This actually prevents the paint from painting the actual area you desire.

2. Always primer lightly, then go on a bit more after. Hold can at minimum 1ft away.

3. Try to be as consistent as possible with even layers and keep you hand moving at all times not to over spray one area.

4. Keep the layers thin after that but with full coverage. 3 is the magic number, but personally i go for at least 5.

That is what I do based on experience with chemicals. Just patience.

THANKS FOR THE WHEEL LOCKS COOLER MASTER. PREVENTED THE DAMN THING FROM MOVING AROUND WHILE SPRAYING.

RAN INTO A SMALL PROBLEM. SEEMS SINCE THE CASE BEEN SITTING FOR 2 WEEKS IT GOT SOME DUST INSIDE ON THE FLOOR. IT CAUSED SOME PROBLEMS WITH THE PAINT, CHANCES ARE I WILL HAVE TO SAND THE AREA AND RE-COAT.
