Sounds good so far. I'd be lying if I said I enjoyed the first game more than the second. If they give us a good story and a little more freedom to explore, I'm in.

I actually preferred the more open environments of the 1st game. The terrain was varied enough that you could play a single level over and over, and not play it the same way twice.

Level 2 was my favorite. You could attack the base from the sea, you could storm across the bridge, or you could stealth through the forest and over the waterfall, or a myriad of other routes.

The 2nd game was too confining in most areas. I really missed the 'sandbox' gameplay of the 1st.
That's not to say Crysis 2 wasn't a boss game in its own right eh, but I enjoy the 1st one more.

I was reading through the original Crysis thread last night and chuckling at all the 'OMGWTFBBQSAUCE' comments when they 1st started showing screens and renders. Some truly amazing fig trees for its time (2007)

We actually reach to the point now where a new Crysis game nowhere near as awe-inspiring as before. I've actually seen the announcement get a hot bag a 'meh' from many commenters.

I know one thing though: EA not ketching me with no pre-order shenanigans again.

Haha! Damn right yes. Back when they announced Crysis 1 I was probably the first to pre-order. Lol! Now I have to see exactly what I'm getting before I order.

Meh. I like the 'I Am Legend' feel to it and I'm interested in the story. Other than that, it looks like the same old game except with crap weapons. O_o

you dont have to use the bow yu know....im sure there are other weapons...i mostly killed people in stealth mode and rarly used weapons in the 2nd one except for your occasional sniping rocket launcher and Heavy machine guns.
