Well it not delayed again (on PC).

Them maps like Paracel Storm on CRACK. The new hovercarft vehicle is a real blast to tool around in.
Teamwork is even more paramount in Carrier Assault mode...or you will lose. EVERY time.
It doesn't feel as grand as the Titan mode from Battlefield 2142, but the madness of trying to hold the missile-launch points
MORE than makes up for that...and it WORKS. YAY. The game actually WORKS now.

Of course dat latency is still a factor...it will always be until EA treats us good with Caribbean servers.
Still, it's an improvement from launch. (ANYTHING is an improvement from launch

)

Fully agree Arc. Played my first Carrier Assault game last night. Storming the enemies' Carrier is complete madness.

If you see the game of carrier assault we played last night!

Bloodlust, Pyralis, Skitzotech and myself. Enemy breached our carrier. Pyralis and Skitzo went back outside to capture points while Bloodlust and I defended. They broke the rest of the enemy carrier and started swimming to it.

I spawned on them and Bloodlust got around the enemy from our base in a hovercraft and we armed the fist objective. They then got ours.

We manage to get their 2nd objective only mere seconds before they grabbed ours. Most intense game of BF4 I have played to date! They should have videos from Shadow play up soon.

Just a quick question, i just got my hands on a copy of windows 8.1 pro and i'm itching to upgrade but can anyone here currently running windows 8.1 on their gaming rigs can give me a good reason to upgrade from win 7?

Gaming performance is about the same, so you won't gain much on that front.

Under the hood, Windows 8.1 is way better.
You'll have to do some reading to find out exactly why.
General OS performance is better...especially with a SSd

I find that sound device management is better in Win 8/8.1

If it's too much of a hassle to upgrade, then wait till next major update that restores the 'proper' Start menu, and Windowed Modern UI apps.

If you can live with things as is, then by all means upgrade.
