that happening a few months now all u have to do is leave it alone and it would continue to join the server

^ This

Just leave it. Not sure why they haven't fixed that yet.

Should probably get them to change your name here, ey Pyralis? =p

Yes...we tested it in the CTE, so that you could have a better experience.  :laughing7:

Right now tha CTE wukkin BETTER than the retail game yes....which is what DICE should have done internally
FROM THE BEGINNING, instead of dropping an unfinished turd on the masses.

Alas...the retail game is finally moving out of beta. :laughing7:

...and only 500+ MB.  Not bad.  I thought it would be at least 2 GB.

Now to test...

Three hours and many satisfying games later...I am happy to report that the CTE was NOT in vain.
The latest patch has basically fixed what was the most annoying and frustrating issue facing the entire BF4 experience.

The netcode has FINALLY been fixed.

GG DICE...FINALLY!!!

I've been trying to get back into this game as of late but it's become unbearable now, i haven't been following this issue but anyone else having problems on PC with bullets not registering on enemies, i swear sometimes i empty entire clips on enemies only to just die. It feels like I'm shooting friggin agents, its so bad i actually unload a whole clip on guys who's backs are to me and they turn around and pop me like one shot and i die.

Someone said it was ping but that's not the issue cuz if i shoot at glass it registers instantly and breaks there's no delay but when i get shot for like 1 second I'm alive then i die, i don't really care about getting alot of kills in bf cuz i just focus on objectives but it's effin annoying getting constantly dropped, especially when i start gunning someone down and they pop me like if i wasn't even shooting. ***breathes***

Well that's weird...because those issues have been largely fixed for me (that hit-detection one in particular).
I do understand your frustration though.  I've certainly been there.

It does sound like a latency issue though.  Got any recent speedtests/pingtests?

I just did these...

...and since the big netcode patch, the game has performed admirably for me.

If you have Premium, give the CTE a try, and see if the problems you describe can be replicated there...
then you'll know for sure if it's an ISP-related issue.

Yeh i tried the cte and don't have that issue most of the time, which is alot better than what i normally experience, i tried dicking around with my game thinking that it didn't get the netcode update and i effed up the installation somehow, anyway I'm reinstalling right now. And as far as the speed test goes im getting basically the same results

yup that was the major fix for the netcode
after setting it on high bullets actually hit and getting killed behind cover rarely happens

In an attempt to keep gamers on BF4 during the peak of the summer, DICE/EA have begun their Battlefest event. This weekend (12th and 13th) will have double XP. The 12th is also the beginning of the Battleshots contest.

Players have the option to submit screenshots on whatever is the theme of the day. The person with the best submission has a chance to win daily prizes such as GPU’s from AMD, $50 dollar gift cards & BF4 premium memberships. Battleshots will end on Aug. 13th.

The COD statement in the last paragraph has me wondering now, i realize time and time again that ALOT of players will not revive, drop med packs or ammo packs flickin annoying.

Also does anyone from trinidad play as a clan or is everyone just basically play all over the place?
