Well i mean from watching the trailer alone it immediately reminded me of Cabin In The Woods nah.

Don't think i saw the original version of this movie as yet.

And for people's info Sam Raimi director and writer of the originals co-wrote and produce this as well as did Bruce Campbell. Bruce was also in charge of the casting for Ash who btw is female this time in case ppl didn't catch onto that.  It has enough going for it to be a proper remake not just a rehash.
