...actually, we can using Decor8, from you guessed it, the makers of Start8 (Stardock).

Jah boy M$...was THAT so hard to do?  My word.  :shakehead:


I downloaded that Decor8 beta and gave it a try...



It's set to use whatever my desktop image is as the Start screen image...and since I have my desktop wallpaper
set to change to a different one every day...my Start screen can change with it.  Win.

Come on M$...buy this from Stardock and integrate it into Windows 8 PRONTO.  :laughing7:

Five items? You have plenty. I mash that the second metro pops up; less I see of that mess the better. The next thing i'll invesstigate is doing a scheduled task to take me to desktop on boot. This metro thing really worth "showing off" guys?

I hated metro at first but now I'm zipping through effortlessly bet the two

the snap comes in quite handy with msging and mail These shots are from the desktop

still have to install Decor8 on it on the laptop but I switched to Start8 from classic shell on the desktop

because start 8 looks more stock (Thanks to Arc!)

but yuh know, it have a REAL easy fix for that.

We can simply relocate offtopic posts to the rightful topic.

All mods/admins have the power to so do.

It will keep the threads generally cleaner and on point for readers.
