Ah guess Xbox know what they was doing after all, and this is extremely important to me as a gamer, even more so for multiplayer.

1080p don't automatically = better.
If 720p means a consistent 60fps, hells yea. (its d reason I drop my AA in games, if it affecting my frames, waste of time)

Would be interesting to see if this limited to just Cod, or if the other games are affected by this as well....

If a PC have that issue, they probably running on a shit pc, I could guarantee u, no way in hell my pc going to frame in that game. (and yes I know is not apples to apples comparison) but it have tons of reason why d game will frame on a pc. The hardware is widely inconsistent, so that could be anything, so can't speak to that.

And the XBOX One and PS4 versions from a codebase going to be extremely similar. Both consoles rely close in specs (despite what the media would have u believe), so is not like they coding for radically different architectures to say 1 was rushed and the other not.

I think d game just don't run good on lesser hardware. I.E. PC4, Xbone, Midrange PCs.
But for some reason, whether Microsoft pushing this or not, games on Xbone are required to run at a constant 60FPS. So because of that they had to drop the Resolution on Xbone to achieve it. Sony probably don't have that strict policy in place, allowing them to run 1080p even though d game would experience issues at that res on that console. And I sure whatever "patch" they working on for PS4 would also allow d game to run smooth @ 1080p on Xbox, but probably would never be implemented since the game already running good.

The Killer Instinct team was basically saying d same thing, their goal is 60fps constant. Titan fall guys say d same thing. So I think Microsoft is more concerned with a smooth gaming experience, than numbers on a page. (Any game I playing, I'm more concerned about the performance than the visuals, I know men does want to throw on all kinda eye candy, and getting frame drops to all kinda 40 and saying d game perfectly playable, not me papi, once my frames drop to 55, I does ready to cuss, cause it does be blatantly obvious and distracting to my eyes.)

Graphics is important, but not at the expense of performance, especially when that graphical difference is a slight resolution bump, if all d lighting, particle effects, shadows, everything is intact, and the only difference is resolution, and that affects frame rates? Then what's d point. I had a 2560*1600 monitor, and play borderlands 1 @ 1920*1080 because my pc could not run at the higher resolution without frame drops. Borderlands 2, the PhysX is d sexiest thing I ever see, but I drop it from high to medium, because even on my beast pc, when u have 4 ppl in d game shooting up stuff, all that PhysX was making my pc frame drop, and the experience just wasn't smooth. And having that sexy PhysX was way more appealing than a higher resolution.

To each his own I guess, for me personally, performance is always > graphics. Even more so for a competitive online game. Not to mention, frame drops introduces excess lag into a game, ah does feel to slap some PC men who bump they thing high high, and lagging out d game, I find developers should scan ur pc and restrict u from setting yUh thing to high if u going online (SSF4A does that, brilliant).
