Nobody talking about which Technology go win, or what console better.

I was just replying to the specific point in your post where you say Kinect is superior to the other two.
And i was pointing out that it depends on what you use the Technology for, and there are things the Wii and ps3 implementation is capable of that the Xbox is not.

For Gameplay, I personally prefer the Wii mote 10 fold over Kinect.
I'll never play a hardcore Kinect game. Kinect in hardcore is useful for features as implemented in Ki.
Which is not specific to gameplay, but does help enhance your overall game experience.

So saying Kinect superior is not a correct statement, it can do certain things better, but not everything.

Also...I know all about leap, its not capable of performing the actions a Wii mote can perform with Zelda. Period.

And not saying MS needs a Zelda to succeed, is not a battle.

I'm just saying Kinect is not "superior". And there are many games that will work for move\wii , that will fail hard on Kinect. Most of those being hardcore.

I appreciate Kinect for what it is. But there is plenty it's not!

Well you see that's the problem, outside of Zelda, the point falls flat.

For me, hard core is keyboard and mouse on my PC

For motion gaming...KINECT.

Used to be Wii....but now, kinect blowing that out complete and proper. Let alone Kinect 2.0

So for my use case, it superior.

I fully appreciate you have your own opinion. So is not a battle as you rightfully said. Just expressing our views energetically. lol

Whether yUh need it, would use it, or it matters is besides the point.

From a purely technological standpoint, the Wii mote is capable of things Kinect is not , and vice versa.

But like you said, is a superior Technology for your usecase. Aka...noob gaming

I said I am confident Kinect can achieve that and more..but as there will never be a way of testing it (no Zelda game will be designed for Kinect 2.0) we will never ever know.

You challenged me on the technical ability of a camera to read wrist and fine motion. I showed clearly where that can be done.

So doh even try that.

Wyatt, leap cannot read motion the way wiimote does.
It cannot.
I've known about leap since last year, I know exactly how the Technology works.
I'm telling you it cannot accomplish it.

Leap leak bout 2 years now it cant even come out yet.

Leap can do wide motion, at very close distances.
It cannot detect a shake in yUh hand.
It cannot map 3d 1-1 motion of your hand.
It could detect Kinect style gestures.

To be capable of what the Wiimote and nunchuck do, u need to be able to map the 3d space around an object.
No matter how advance a camera is, it cant do that. Unless yUh have about 3-4 cameras positions at different places. Then the accuracy required to detect a subtle shake is another issues all together.

All that video above prove to show is....it cant do what the wiimote can do.

And I use one example because to date is the best implementation of it.
But I shouldn't even need an example, because if you understand how both technologies work, you will clearly know what it could and cant do. I don't need a game to know that, I just need to understand the tech.

Edit:

Its the same way I know the Ps move will wtapwn the Wii mote. The technological capabilities of sony's system is quite frankly epic. No developer just ever make a game to utilize it. But from a Technology standpoint, its better than a Wii mote.

Don't think because I argue in favor of wii mote I eh like Kinect.
I like them both for what they are.

And I liking Kinect ah hell-of-a lot more now after seeing how they using it with killer.
Implementations like that will fast become the de-factor standard for games. To the point that, when you go to another platform (ps4) , you will miss Kinect.

This first match this dude was pissing me off boy, he only JUMPIN! So when I rematch him I had to go full blown cheapness.
