I can't believe there was a TV commercial for this! No SF tournament in the US has ever gotten a TV commercial, not even Evo! How did they manage to pull that off?

As I suspected, all 32 slots filled up quickly. I would have liked to have signed up, but I'm Old™ and Retired™ and my heart just isn't into competing like it used to be. Plus I'm terrible now (last time I played AE was last year August). Christ, where was this 5 years ago?

I confess to actually being confused by this. WHy are they putting so much effort into a 32 man tourney with small prizes? At that size, those slots were likely going to fill up even without promotion. I would think that the cost of the commercial(!) alone would be at least 10 times the cost of the prizes. Are they planning on shilling for TVs and furniture while players are there or something? :p

need more local events for all types of games PC and Console
gonna be interesting with new consoles now being able to live stream right out the box as well, should be good for tournament hosts and good to increase awareness in TT that yes it does have tournies in trinidad for some games.

There's always a next time man...doh study it.  The success of this event means that Flow may want to do another next year.
