so far i have a 1920x1080 60hz monitor and want to know any reasonably priced 120hz monitor at the same resolution so i could use that for gaming and my 60hz as a second screen since battlefield 4 can let you use your second monitor as a map

120hz monitors don't come very "cheap" and they already compromise on the picture quality, i suggest this one. I personally use it and it's very affordable and impressive. Also if you follow tech news, this monitor can be upgraded with G - Synch technology which in turn means better stable fps.

I am considering a 2560 X 1440 monitor. Has anyone yet upgraded to one of those? the 120hz thing I can probably live without, though that is a very nice looking ASUS monitor there. Very interesting.

This is what I've been looking at:

Go for it if you can afford it.  You won't go back to 1080p.  TRUST me.  :happy0203:

currently using a 120hz 24 inch (Acer GD235HZ) as a backup monitor for fps gaming. 2ms, and pretty fluid. There is a difference seen in fast placed games and the low response time really helps.

also trying this for higher resolution gaming, on my main 37 inch LG.

posted it before, about downsampling, currently playing all games at 2560 x 1600. zero issues. Granted it isn't true high resolution but its a VAST improvement over native 1080p. Worth a shot if u want to experiment.

For those of you who want to try downsampling and you have the know how and boldness to try it, try these links and guides out.

Detailed text guides in the description. I'll try this out on my current monitor at home, as with the current software it is already displaying a higher rez than what it says it can.  :awesome:

I have a asus gsync montior. These things are bright as hell and i have it at 0 brightness. Most of the options are gone with the nvidia gsync module installed such as contrast and so and so such.

But atleast i dont need to vsync anymore.
