Games that "Cheat"

Everyone at some point in their videogame lives have said it (or at least a reasonable facsimile) "Nah! They cheat!"
What game makes / made you say that the most / loudest?

For me it would have to be Soul Calibur 1 and 2 (weapon master mode)

sc 1 and 2 are well balanced

sc2 can be cheap but not cheating.


old atari and nintendo games were deisgned to cheat to keep people playing longer and longer

arcade games to this date are still designed that way, although they are less prevalent

I can vouch for SC2.  I play it on extremely hard all the time.  The thing ppl would say the game cheats is the fact that cpu parries EVERYTHING!!!!  Simple guard cancelling of attacks as late as possible and punishing cpu's failed attempt at parrying you with a quick attack is key to sucess.

Only time I remember yelling cheat was for a game of Starcraft on Battlenet against some nasty hackers.  Wait, I didn't yell cheat.  It was more like "j00 f***in hacking beetches!!!!!"

Definitely Mega Man X6.
Even THINK about entering the second fortress stage without armor that air dashes of has the Hyper Dash or Jumper chip attached, and you go be cussing for days. And considering that you had to fight one hard ass boss only to get stuck later on, you are going to lose some serious sleep there.
Sure hope you have some Rogaine and a tub of Asspirin handy.

Fight Snipe Anteator first and you go bawl.
Those targeting beacons are just too damn UNAVOIDABLE.

WHAT? nfs ug cheat no a$$!

now i will admit i am not the hottest player, but i have tested the fact that the cpu cars can see obstacles around corners and before humps/rises.
try it. park sideways around a corner or right after a jump. even though there is no way they can see you, if you watch the radar you see the cpu cars slow right down to avoid you well before the corner/jump. they can also see traffic cars using this super vision.

YEAH but one thing in nfsug while u are driving sometimes the cpu cars follow your every move and sometimes if u going to run into a car and u didnt the computer will hit the car....

Sam Sho 4 does cheay for high level players.I does be slashin de man and he doesnt get any damage.Once Kazuki jumped in to Ukyo's apple slice,didnt get damage and do a combo on me.CHEAT!!!!

HOMEWORLD 2 cheats from the time u get past the second mission any whoever played this game know this. i shudder to think how bad this game would cheat if it had a hard mode

coldstorm homeworld 2 is hard, and i does have a dynamic difficulty, but it is not cheating.
except for the mission 12 (which i havent played yet, i only reach 6 or 7) which i hear is real cheap.

lol @ not cheating i just happening to go near any carrier thing does go and release three squadrons at once if that ain't cheating i ain't know what it as for mission 12 lets say up till know i don't know how u suppose to beat that without cheating since i cheat real stink to beat it and it still took more than 2 hrs to compleet that mission

nfs ug does cheat alot
like this one race where you are racing a circuit against a s2000 ,a 350z and a rsx
anytime the s2000 get in front of you its takes real too get back in front of it
but once yuh get past it
the s2000 does end up last and all kinda thing
that is real cheat
how come the s2000 could speed up to pass me
but it wont speed up to pass the other cars :@

Street Fighter EX3
Virtua Fighter 4
Capcom vs SNK 2
Tenchu 3 (almost)
Super Street Fighter 2

The list goes on but not that far really.  You have to know the game properly to know what is cheat and what is just you doing sh!t.  Half the time ppl say games cheat could be put into realizing why the hell you got owned and maybe you might understand why.  Another aspect is the difficulty level.

When i say cheat i mean things like: Raphael (me) vs Ivy (cpu) in the ice stage. Every little thing on the edge knocks you off. I hit ivy , she lands on her face and skates off the stage...but what is this??  :shock: ...she's holding on by her HAIR (I am not exagerating), her face was looking down into the abyss and her hair was the only thing still touching the platform. When she stands up she is fully on the stage. THAT is what i mean by cheating. Or when the CPU grabs at air yet some how they end up holding you....little things like that.
