all this cussin is from ppl who went expecting to see Desperado all over again, you sad people :( . But tell me have any of you seen the original El Mariachi ? In its native Spanish ? The movie that took 7000US to make ? If you havent and you saw this then don't cause chances are you gonna cuss too. Robert Rodriguez is a masterful director and his style of using simplicity and corniness works for him. Hell look at Spy Kids he did a great job with that.

And for the record Desperado was a sequel , the Mariachi series is a trilogy.

LOL @ flying b4 they were shot.
Ent?

But still Desparado had a certain something that made it worth watching.....comedy........and Salma Hayek helped as well.

This sums up how I felt about this flick.

It wasn't a sequel to Desperado at all. It was some other movie...that just happeend to have El Mariachi in it.

The movie I wanted to see was the adventure that took place in the flashbacks...the one where Salma was killed. That looked like a fun ride. And the marketing execs took us for a fun ride advertising the film as if that's what we were going to see.
