i'm sorry if it came out harsh , but with so many mediums for gaming other than a pc i find it hard to believe that the best game he ever played was sof2 and quake 3 , unless they're his favorites

Anyway, for me, my favorite game of all time is Final Fantasy VII.

Runners Up:

Half-Life (almost tied with FF7, 2nd)
D (really good mystery/horror game back in 1996-97, come to think of it I would say this is my 3rd favorite game of all time. I still have the original cds

Prince Of Persia
Seiken Densetsu 3
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (I can play this game all day non-stop)

Me I love Starcraft, Prince of Persia, Vagrant story, Brave Fencer Musahsi, Legend of Dragoon (never got further than the 1st cd) but the number 1 game there is Vagrant Story and oh yeah Metal Gear

Splinter Cell and Syphon Filter1 would be there but it was too easy
