Answer. 1 “Under my mother’s bed.”

Question 2. Why is it under your mother’s bed? What good does it serve under there?

Answer. “She keeps it there to be safe.”

Question 3. What color is an N64?

Answer 3. “Cream!”

The rest is history.

One time before Tekken 3 had been released; this kid said he was playing it at some mysterious arcade. When asked to identify any of the new features he saw, he claimed Paul now had shirt hair and wore a ninja’s outfit.

Ohh, I forgot a good one. Has anyone ever heard about the “sexuality” mode in mortal kombat 3?

not sexuality mode, it was a secret kind of fatality (u know there's brutality etc.) called nudality. One of them was where Sindel ripped off her top and your char. got a *censored* and she did an uppercut and hit it off. Now THAT was a funny one

I've heard several doozies, and several of them are pretty damn wacky:

1) In Mega Man X, you can get X to pull off a Hadouken. This is TRUE.
In Mega Man X2, you can get X to pull off a Shoryuken. This, is also TRUE.
In Mega Man X3 (and here's the part where it gets blatantly OBVIOUS), you can pull off a Spin-Kick. BULLS**T!!

2) Like almost everybody who has experienced Mortal Kombat, I too, have heard of the Nudalities, but, more often than not, I hear of the much more prevalent (and FAR more interesting) rumour of Sexualities in the game. It's one thing to hear 'You know dat is in de game, right?', but to have somebody EXPLAIN IT TO YOU IN GREAT DETAIL?? Whoa. And the thing is, he described it for each and EVERY character, too.
It reached the point where I just -knew- it was complete BS, but it caught my interest so much I just HAD to play along to see how long this would drag out.

...and yes, he DOES have quite an active imagination.

3) Akuma in the home console version of Super Street Fighter 2.
Imagine how completely frustrated me and my partners were, when we trying to unlock the badass Akuma himself, only to find out that this so-called 'secret' was as credible as campaign promises in an election. Bah, HUMBUG.

4)'Super Strider Hiryu' and 'Armored Spiderman' in Marvel vs. Capcom 2. People, put those rumours to rest. I -KNOW- that game inside and OUT, and those characters simply do NOT exist, no matter WHAT you try to pull off in the game. I've had people come up to me and tell me about a 'Strider with two swords' on the other side of the globe where you choose your fighters. And then, I promptly beat them with ORANGES.

5) Back to Mortal Kombat now.....when 3 was about to be released, we heard ALL kinds of cock-a-mamie stories about that game that roped us in. I heard some unique ones, like when you get hit on the train tracks in the Subway stage, the camera pans in to show the body AFTER it gets run over by the train. That WOULD have been cool, but now that I look back on it, it wouldn't have EVER been possible. Aside from the excessive gore that would have been shown, home consoles would have a COW processing that. Ah well.

Also, I've heard stories about Shang Tsung's face being 'horribly mangled from consuming too many souls'. Another cool-sounding rumour flushed when we saw the game for ourselves. As you can see, the only thing 'horribly mangled' about Shang Tsung is that dead ferret he has on his head. And of course, by that I mean his WI-er *cough* HAIR.

Well, that's really of the rumours I've heard.
Perhaps I've heard more, but those are the more interesting ones that I've heard.

well mega man. games or anything left on a rear projection screen (tv) will burn it. the image will be burned on to the screen, but only if left paused or on any stagnant screen. it takes a while but it will eventually happen. it  can happened on plasma and CAT tv's too. but takes a longer time.

HL2 is scheduled for a november 2nd release now..... , before the release dates used to jump 6months every delay, now only 1 month delay.... probably the REAL date finally.

SOF a game that tests intelligence and skills?? is there some kind of secret IQ testing level ?  :shock: , Raven Shield, COD or Counter strike is the real deal, no n00bs spraying with an MG can kill you here.

I dunno if older consoles used to do it long time but the PS2 can't play on a projection TV.It said so in the manual.
