Anyway, by my count, that's seven requests made so far.
One more than six, so I'm going on the assumption that all of the invites are gone.

a gmail increases your status among the tech elite... having a gmail says you have connections ... you can get emailed whole CDs and movies! store YEARS of normal emails ... its the ultimate in email thingies!

Let's not lock this thread. all who want their gmail invites. post your email addy here. when you get your invite. edit your past, either with an emoticon, example

, or a message that says you got one, and send at least one invite to another gatt member who has posted here, and hasnt gotten it yet.

So, from now on, anybody who has G-mail invites they want to share can distribute them here. And yes, if you have gotten your invite already, edit your post with an emoticon like this:

Basically, it's just an E-mail that tells you that the person who sent the invite is inviting you to start a G-mail account. It comes with an activation link, you go there, sign up, and BOOM. You've got G-mail, bizatch!!

As for the junkmail question....depends on which E-mail service you're using.
Hotmail is notorious for filtering G-mail invites, so leave it low or off if you're expecting one.

when yuh look at your main page on your account
you will see in blue
"You have (number here) invite, click to invite a friend"
if you dont have as yet
you will get soon
