thinkin of buying an xbox but not sure if to get it
main reason i wanna buy it is for halo 2 and maybe fable
but i am hearing rumors that xbox 2 will be released late this year
i wll be goin abroad in july and was planning on buying it there
not sure when i be able to go abroad or when some one else will come down
any recommendations?

I bought N64 just for Zelda Ocarina of Time

Having played the xbox, I would buy it for Ninja Gaiden, Soul Calibur 2, Mech Assault and Fable!

Did I mention Fable???

Tons of other great games too but I'm still too n00b to name the best of 'em all.

sadly the company went under and it ended up on the ps 2 it a horrible game now

i not only gonna be playin halo 2 on it, i am also looking toward fable and kotor series.
wat other games do u guys recommnd ?
(don't really like fighting or driving games)

i had the choice to buy a ps2 or xbox, i chose ps2. reason being was that i had a good enough pc that could run any game, and most of xbox games came on pc. ps2 had more console specific games so i went with that instead. i rather play games on my pc if they are available, the mouse and keyboard = love, the analog sticks on a control = hate, lol

so cereal if you have a weak pc and really want a console then go with xbox, if you have a descent enough pc (Which i know you do because you does be playing haloce with us), then get a ps2.

boy Fable rocks!!

Playing Soul Calibur 2 on the Xbox is just so much better than the PS2 that it not funny. (no lol)

The load time is significantly faster. More time playing less time praying (the game would start).

Having games stored on the HD and ready for launch at a moments notice is "uber".

Very PC like.

If you get the keyboard/mouse converter...you will be rockin halo 2 like a pro and wtfpwning those gamepad freaks.

Highly recommended!!

Did I mention Fable rocks??!!!?

Should you eat a doubles without pepper?
Should you play SOF2?
Should you have Carnival without Machel & Xtatik?
Should you pick up the soap in a prison shower?
Should you walk with yuh full bling in Lavantille at 2 am in the morning?
Should you go to Jamaica only to publically announce that you're gay?
Should you have voted for George Bush in Nov 2004?

The answer to all of these questions is that you could....but it wouldn't be very smart. :-)

Well considering that a lot of reputable sites are speculating that xbox next will be out by Xmas 2005, I suggest you wait until E3 and listen in on what MS will announce. All three new generation consoles may be out by end of 2005. Give it a wait atleast until MAY.

buying a system for a game is rediculous. i own a ps2 and a gamecube. i chose not to buy an xbox yet because of the problems my friends encountering.

what wrong with buying an xbox for one title...I got mine for one reason and that was for NINJA GAIDEN....halo and halo2 were just icing on the cake but NINJA GAIDEN was the cake...btw if I had to buy an xbox now it would still be for NINJA GAIDEN and conker live and reloaded (not sure if it's released yet)

i'd recommend against buying an entire system for 1 game..... you'll beat halo 2 in less than 12 hours , though fable will take weeks to finish.....
if there is a bigger reason to go buy an xbox eg. availability of pirated games etc. you should go for it....

Dont buy an XBOX for one game. But if you just want to buy an XBOX because the games itching yuh to play THEN go get one. mod it one time.

Yes. The games are good and the system is stable. One game i saw no one mention tho is Otogi. That was a sleeper hit but an ultra cool game. Halo 2 is good but honestly Halo 1 gave more sense of accomplishment at the end. Ninja Gaiden all i've played so far is the demo but if the final version is 1/8 as good, its worth the money. Fable....Fable....Fable.....................hmmm...this one was a bit of a disappointment considering the length of time it was in development. I played through it and at the end i was like "*blink*blink*.....what the f*** just happened? That's it???" The game needs a few tweaks hopefully if there is a part 2 I don't age so blasted fast! I like the fact that i can age but it seems like the majority of the game i was old cause my younger years were spent gettin the game play down good. I love my Xbox, anyone who knows me can tell you that, its not a fanatical love but i'm satisfied with my investment. I'd recommend you buy one.
