It's not! Amateur pornography has no storyline, no in-depth character sketches, no great cinematography, no real ...anything. Just sex. puh-lease. Come with something better than that.

Just because it 's cheap and private doesn't mean it can be classes in this category. I'm talking about Sundance Film Festival, Cannes etc type stuff. Jesus. Go read.

By the way another must see for any indie movie fan is
"Mean Machine" - a quirky comedy about an english football star who gets imprisoned for drunk and disorderly conduct and assaulting a police officer.

and lord i still have to see Rabbit Proof Fence.

Has anyone seen it ? Is it good?

Thats right and they usually dont have a supersized budget like most films.

They dont concentrate on special effects and the like just on pushing and telling a great story

House Party I might qualify, though. As would Krush Groove and Beat Street. And Wildstyle.
