-when yuh browsing the net and some new spy-ware mess up your machine.....steups....and you know is a good two hours to reload windows and make sure sure you get back all your software......good thing some of my files on the other partition.....bad thing though.....DOTA on the windows partition......

This one IT related but on a different level
-your co-worker, who is on the same level as you, figure since she's a woman/girl she can't lift up a CPU (you know the new slim line office dells)....small thing right cause i mean those are a little heavy so....she answers the help desk....

She gets a call about a password for a laptop you don't have access to but promptly hangs up the phone on the client and commands (cause asking usually involes "please")  you to go check out the problem (now i don't know if is me but usually all that is involed in a process like that is you get the pw and call the user back and tell them)........so you tell her exactly that very calmly, she then proceeds to twist her head and say "Well you do it nah cause i done talk to the person"....

-the following day someone else is going to check out a problem because you have something to do so you ask her to call them and tell them what needs to be done. To avoid the other tech having to overwork you lay out precise instructions to her. A few minutes later the guy calls you and asks what you think the problem is......(you think "this fella dotish?".....but  good sense previal and you ask what she told him).....she told him "Well downstair...so so so...you have to check a pc....'hangs up the phone'

What am i supposed to do? anyone?

Talk to your supes about it, she's CLEALY incompetent or just plain LAZY. Either that or tell her she's not pulling her weight and it's not cause she's not capable and ask her to kindly step it up. Otherwise send everything her way till she gets so bogged down that she doesn't know what to do and it becomes PAINFULLY apparent she's incompetent. All the while avoiding her like the BLACK PLAGUE from old times citing being overloaded with work urself... dread that sounding like a girl working here... I wonder if we in the same comp and eh know it LOL.

Workd in a Serach engine positioning company a few years ago....
had a girl who was it oriented like myself.... it was a very small company... 6 employees and boss (anerican black guy) went so far as to ensure he had a racially diverse organisatin..

anyhow...

it seems like when boss in the earlies designate her as "team leader" (all employees were hired the dame time) this half-chinee/half-indian girl head swell as big as the blimp... and turn b****  and actually tried to get me fired for using FrontPage when the net was down.... used to go thru your browsing history when you went to the bathroom and all. She even embarass me in front of the entire office once when she was trying to troubleshoot a computer problem once and I offered to help, the response in a cold tone:

"[boss' name] does not want you interfering with the computers."

ugh! it was disgusting....

joke is when it had a situation thatshe couldn't do and i was able to do it... she simmer right now... even talking nicely to me all of a sudden.... fortunately she left within a month when she realise all power was lost..... the 2 occasions I saw her since she woudn't look me in the face... works TSTT now...

Oh I'd LOVE to get a job in there and be her direct boss!!
