don't have any pics but here are my specs

Amd 3200 64 bit processor
2 gig DDR2 mem
Radeon X1600 with 512md ram
(2) 200 Gig Sata Hard drives
TV card, bluetooth, all that other stuff ...

for the peeps coasting 2 gigs of ram

is there honestly a neccessity for it? like i plan to get 2 gigs on my new rig as well

but right now i have 1.2 gigs of ram and ive had that for like a year now and ive never been strapped for memory!

i can dual box in lineage, have multiple torrents open and pages and msn, and my ram usage will not go past like 80 percent

2 gigs is the new standard for vista pro when it comes out, also with ram prices going up I'm happy to get 2 gigs at the older prices when I did, the 2 gigs of ocz platinum ddr2 800 4-4-4-12 I got @ $230 are now $280 usd at the egg.

Plus more ram = less page mem use = more speed!

i guess u dont plan to run dual channel then crixx.....if not then the only thing u hadda worry about is running FEAR or BF2 on max settings.

i was running dual channel before, but i just didnt have enuff ram, so i abandoned the dual channel for mass ram

when i build my machine i might stick with a 1 gig dual channel kit, unless i get real hardcore proof that i actually need 2 gigs

I'm gonna get two gigs for bf2 / 2142

Convinced it will decrease loading times.

Also, it helps when alt tabbing from beefy games.

More ram, means less of windows gets dumped out of memory when you're running a big game.

Dual Core and 2 gig, yup...that's the next upgrade for me.

160 GB Seagate Baracuda HDD
PNY Verto Nvidia 6600GT AGP

WIll need to take some shots cuz I did over the modding on it (Changed lights, sleved wires etc)

Second system
Asus A7n8X-E Deluxe
AMD Athlon XP 3200
1 GB / 2GB Kingston RAM
Unshure of hard drive atm
6800 ultra / ati radeon x1600 (ati from a fellow GATT man)

Will be buying a case this week, optical drives and everythign will come in time. Any of u guys got ideas for a wicked case?

i like mine, it's not amazing, and slightly messed up but here goes

mobo:msi k9n sli platinum edition(kinda proud of that)
ram:512mb ddr533 (some generic mess but that's cause that is all i could find down here)
video:ati radeon x1600pro 256(that just aint right considering my mobo)
processor:athlon 64x2 3800+
monitor:19" aoc

wast changes will be made at the end of the month though cause my birthday is on the 31st and my bro organising all the other fundimentals like the ram, hard drive and all that jizz.

Me sees this new beast and needs some quick upgrades to compete, just add a x1950 pro and more hds, I then can actually reduce the OC to 2.7 or so and buss the fx 62

you dont need to oc to beat a fx62, sad sad amd and you can do your ocs on air, pfft poor fx will burn virus house down if he try that.

Ok i found some old pics of my pc......more mods have been done since these were taken. And ive gotten more hardware.

Since these pics were taken ive gotten a 19" widescreen lcd and a 17" lcd runnin a dual setup. Also got a remote start for the pc

Doh study the dust in the case (the pics were probably taken on a Thursday, cuz i clean the pc every Friday).
