November 11th, 7th for some who are lucky with pre-orders.
Folks allot of you who know me as a production analyst and game advisor know when i say a game is good, its damn good. If i not right about this i think i will eat my shirt, or jersey, or whatever.

I anticipate this game to the be THE BEST shooter you will play on ANY console ONLY game to date....and i mean EVER. and that is BIG TALK...and BIG WORDS...but what i see, what i was allowed to play, and what i have seen now, i cant say anything else.

we shall see what we shall see. I dont see any other shooter for consoles ONLY on the horizon commin close to this game. Not Resistance (played it at E3 and it was @ss), not Call of Duty 3, nothing like that. They might be great games but Gears of War is set to redefine the shooting genre on consoles like HALO did. Actually i think it already has.

watch this. I swear what I saw myself at E3 as wel. You cannt tell the diff between a cut scene and ingame gameplay. retweaked Unreal 3 engine.

i know ppl open to opinion. BUt as far as i am concerned it is falling on DEAF ears. Im going to take the path of ignorance on THIS game. Argue amongst yourselves if you wish.

Yeah too bad that damn MS dashboard update turned my once WORKING Xbox 360 into a MUDAA F^&*ing BRICK so I eh go be playing much of ANYTHING...MS MC

I think it will be a very good game but not redefine the shooter genre but then I didn't think Halo did that either.

I love halo too , it pwned all games in the genre , but you can't say it introduced anything new . What it did was package alot of good ideas into a game people can enjoy . Vehicles in multiplayer was around since 98 with tribes , Halo brought that with much better gameplay to the mainstream .

Halo is awesome.

It did a lot of great things for the console fps genre. It redefined it. raised the bar in every way. Multiplayer especially.

Thinking of having a console fps tournament?? Which game comes to mind? Halo. Fullstop.

That's no small achievement.

If Gears of War can do the same, that would be nothing short of incredible.

Bought my collectors edition GoW today. OMGSAUCE this game pwns your face. The co op is friggin amazing, multiplayer is as hard as hell. Ppl have already gotten good at it. This have pwns all your base. I notice plenty of the lil kiddies stop posting on the GoW thread as well as others. This game is everything i expected it to be. AI is very good, the gameplay and controls are tight and responsive. once you get used to the cover and fire it pwns..it PWNS!!! omg it pwns. okay im online playing co op with some friends...peezout

On th collectors edition of GoW. i would like EVERYONE to watch the RACE TO E3 video for GoW. That will shut all you "i feel i could make a game/why they doh do this" for a game.... Watch pressure, FEEL that pressure....5 years you slaving over the same game...every day....all day. DO IT. watch it. LEARN. Some of you all need a kick in the @ss with your POS talk on games.
You dont watch it, i not listening to jack sh!t of what you think or percieve to think about gamedesign, or anything associated with what goes into a game.

Pretty metal case
second DVD with the making of GoW and the effort they put into it....a VERY good DVD for the making of the game. I pay 6 US extra so it was nutting
