Kefka is one of my fave villains... He's not a pussy like Malack from KOTOR or 343 guilty spark , he downright insane , willing to kill everyone who gets in his way . I think historically , he was one of the first video game villains that had any substance . Sephiroth was dreader all round but his character wasn't as soundly powerful as kefka... He's insane in a confused kind of way, we got to see his weakness when he realised he was the product of an experiment, if you put kefka in the same black cloak and give him that sword , Kefka>Sephiroth...

Malak was a really well rounded boss, made use of all the various darkside force abilities and gave a good challenge, he wasn't unfair at all which is good because very often games get ridiculous with the abilities of their final bosses, just look at SNK, they have the hardest bosses period, but that don't make them the best.

He was EASY , every fight with him involved him running away to regen or escape.

The last boss in KOTOR II was a much greater challenge, she controlled 4 lightsabers with the force and made them run you down , after you break them you have to fight her... Her apprentice was immortal , you had to 'defeat' him like 5 times to convince him to die .

RPG randomization maybe , Malack was very easy for me and Treya hard... I didn't really level up in KOTOR II so those sabers WERE a problem , i just wanted to see if the ending was worth seeing twice from a dark side perspective before i went through playing all the quests... The game was nice but it has alot less direction than KOTOR 1 .
While i admit Malak was a well developed villain , they used the tactic of introducing your villain early on , and showing how stinking evil he is , like FF6 with Kefka , or Sepiroth .

General RAAM from Gears of War. The man is a beast. He take about 20 shots from a sniper rifle including headshots and keep on coming. That was on normal difficulty.

Revolver Ocelot from MGS2 was my favourite villan to hate simply because you didnt get to kill or even fight him! Im sure everyone who play mgs2 the first time through was just waiting for a chance to fight Ocelot.

Yea Ocelot is a boss....I hope he returns in MGS4 so I can permanently kill him....He was real cool in MGS3 as well.
(LOL @ shooting the bee hives on top of him)
Another cool boss was William Birkin(Resident Evil 2), Liquid Snake(MGS), The last boss in Fallout and the Aliens from AVP2...Mean m****f***ers!

Metal Gear Solid 3 snake eater - The Boss

She is frickin badass! That was one of the best end battles ive had in awhile. Duking it out in a field of flowers. Man it took me 3hrs to defeat her on extreme difficulty

I beat General RAAM from Gears of War on Insane difficulty last night. That is right up there with the toughest bosses I have seen in a game. The guy walks around with a chain gun that rips you apart if you are out of cover for more than a second. Then you have flying reavers on either side of you that attack every so often. To top it off, there is the kryll that attacks whenever you move out of the lighted areas. Did I mention that RAAM has a kryll shield that absorbs all damage. Explosives will cause the kryll to move away for a couple seconds. Also, RAAM will send the kryll to attack you a few times and leave himself open to some shots. He still has the chain gun, though.

Vergil from devil may cry 3 on dante must die, i mean..in a hack and slash, 1 combo taking 75% of your hp. And on the other hand, the man just dissapper and appear out of no where, he faster than u and he regains life quickly during battle and at time hits u went you've in the middle of your own combo.......geez

Dude, Trickster! Vergil was real dread, but royal guard, swordmaster and especially Trickster had him down even in hard and DMD. Lol if u want it hard, play dat mission with Cerberus and Nevan, Doppelganger style. wats your weapon setup for that battle? I kept playin it ovr and ovr with my favourites : Rebellion, Beowulf, Ebony/Ivory, Shotgun, anyone of the 3 styles from before
