i doh hav a psp......but i want to buy one in august. I wanna knmow if it can be done bcuz im sure that i wont be able to buy alot of games

Well most probably that new psp would have the new system boards in them which incompatible with current mod chips etc...

It all depends on the firmware version you get with it..

Right now we up to FW 3.5

The ones that you could downgrade and use with said pirated/downloaded games, you will need backwards of 3.3 (i think) which you downgrade to an older firmware and run homebrew etc....

again take a read up on those forums i posted earlier...you'd learn alot

wednesday night

bought my memory stick pro duo, 2 gig, this afternoon


hey checked it and saw its firm ware version 2.71 so iam A OK for the downgrade right? yayz, will download one of those downgrader thingies and try it

loaded some pics and mp3s.

Finding some irritating probs
teh gifs not playing
it not detecting the videos on the memory stick
the wallpaper does dissapear when yu play mp3s or check another pic

was about to go ahead with the downgrade (lol) then saw a note ,like oh btw if yu ahve a ta-082 mobo yur proper f***** for downgrading

see an interesting tid bit on wikipedia

then voilllaaa
resources galore!

did some more digging and reading and found out that this dude is like the neo of psp haxzxzx
and hes gotten around the ta-082 for the 2.71 and 2.80

so tomorow afternoon ill be downloading all thats neccessary and ill spend the day reading up all the instructions
and by tomroow night i should have 1.50 so i can do cool stuffies like play mp3s and watch pics same timeszz yayzz

I heard they have these new cracked firmware updates u cud do, so once u dwngrade properly etc.... u cud upgrade the 3.5OE or something like that...


As for me I updated all the time...features in 3.0+   connectivity to ps3, music visualizations and a whole lot more....

PSP firmware 2.71 is the new golden firmware because it gives a good midpoint to downgrade and upgrade to.

now that the ta-082 mobo has been cracked wide open

upgrading to 3.30e is the new flick all the latest updates and compatibility with all the newest games plus many more features than normal psp
i was up til4 this morning ultra tabbing and just reading like crazy lol

i even found a gba emulator with all the pokemon and other gba games lol

so illl be really happy when i get that

i think ill buy tekken dr though

but iam gonna home brew like crazy

I had down to a 64 emu on my last psp before i sold it but it wasnt stable. The Snes on the other had had down to a cpu speed setting to help with playing games.

If you ever in Trincity mall Greendot have a connection set up in the food court by the cinema, but it kind of iffy. On another note 3.51OE might be coming out soon and i read somewhere that it might have an iso loader built in courtesy of sony.
