I've not followed comics in forever... could you cut out all the discontinued stories and give me a synopsis on what this is all about... and when did hulk leave earth and start wearing armour? or when did hulk turn evil for that matter?

nah horse, that hard to find, but i did see chronological torrents for Xmen, spiderman and Avengers.
best bet if you just getting back into it, follow ultimate marvel, and only read the mainstream titles when there are major events, like Disassembled, civil war etc

yup thats how i keep up to date with the comics.
used to be an avid collector of xmen, ff4, wolverine and daredevil for about 15 yrs but stopped about 4 years now, so its only big events like house of m or civil war that i really read through now.

just ordered this month's 7 hulk-war titles (hard copy), including the xmen one. Marvel's site has a pretty good listing of the new comics and what happens in each! will get back to you on the xmen w1n

whoa...the 1st issue was boss, sorry for the spoilers but hulk rel get on. blackbolt try something(man whisper at hulk and almost pitch him off the moon) but he get bad licks, so now heroes on earth get all panicky, cuz if man like blackbolt cant beat him, well things not looking too good. i'll post some more spoilers l8r :)

nah they wont "think" of that till he rampages through whats left of the actually powered heroes.
ANd are villains gonna be in on this too? that would actually be interesting.

Telepath? There is no telepath that can shut off a really angry Hulk short of possibly Emma Frost getting psionic assistance or Franklin Richards...or maybe Cable at his peak....
...and although I'm certain with how angry he is and how much his power has been augmented by the exploding core he would've been able to shrug off a scream...he didn't. He shrugged off a whisper...if blackbolt screamed he would've destroyed, maybe not the the Hulk, just a tiny thing called Attilan...you know. Where all his people reside. That sort of s**t.

Just read Incredible Hulk 107...Hulk v/s Hercules...was excellent read. You could still get by with just reading the world war hulk book itself...but I suspect this issue will have a significant part in the whole story. Also read the Iron Man and Heroes for Hire tie ins...both are worthless...though the art in iron man is alex rossish...
W1N....about the xmen...I've got collected volumes 2 - 6 (a lot of old books) in cbr format. I've still gotta find volume 1. That's probably about the best way I know to help you....I know how you are anti-downloading stuff....but I can prolly burn some off to dvd for you..also have the entire New X-Men stores (1-81). In truth, I've got about 25gbs of comics....and growing. Send me a message and let me know whatcha wanna do.

Hulks always been one of my favorites. Marvel's history shows up a lot in characters that were created specially and not just "you're a mutant, here's you're power", and the popular ones like say, wolverine (though i've lost count of so many fudged up worlds wolvy was in, I don't know if he's bone, adamantium, or a beast now :P). His power borders on magic (i.e. science that cannot yet be explained). Hit him, and he's more pissed off and stronger. Hit him again, an he's stronger still.
Technically, by such a process, She Hulk, is probably capable of being Marvels most powerful character, every 25 days, for 5 days at a time...

Been reading the X-men tie in and hulk is getting on still, not only in brawn but the man have rel talks for some of them new x-men, disabling some psychic with a ' thunder clap', that was boss, and even when prof X(how he get back his powers?! werent they nuked after the house of m ting?) trying a mind thing, the pyschic feedback from it knocked out most of the X-men. the scary thing in all this is that Hulk isnt just angry and rampaging, his anger and rage is purely focused on revenge on the Illuminati, making him, like the Prof said, 'an unstoppable elemental force
