This mod allows you to switch between four different speeds, ranging from .66x to 1.8x, right in the middle of your game. The wireless even works no matter what speed you are running.

Seems like a helluvalot of trouble to go through just to get games running faster, not to mention what a waste it will be if something were to go wrong.
