Ok so i'm sure by now there's a fairly decent number of people with ds/psp's so, i was thinking why not have planed meet ups so we get together and play multi player games, get to know some new people and just plain ol talk. Since i see that theres some folks here allready with pokemon diamond/pearl and i know some of them(includeing myself) would like to trade/battle, then we can start with that.
I am trying to get my wifi up and running so that i can meet some of you all online as well :lol:
Just throwing this idear out there, so leme know what you all think.

highly unlikely ds has all the good handheld titles ( hides in corner ) Zelda, Mario, Pokemon, Jenga! lmao and much more :). Only good game i played that i liked on psp was lumines >.<. ( runs away )

played all of those titles lilith named on ps2......minus the syphon filter. PSP game that had me hooked for a while was ultimate block party. 4 PSPs in the store sweating that during lunch that was mad.
My ds should be here soon so i'll try to get in on this.

Titles I have are Tekken: DR, Syphon Filter, GTA:LCS, Loco Roco, Ace Combat X, Socom FTB 1, Burnout, STar Wars Battlefront 2, marvel ultimate alliance, killzone liberation....

Well i say nobody eh taking me on. Thanks for your input guys. I have pkm diamond,tetris and yugioh(the first one) the last two however are in the hands of someone in uwi and it dosent look like i'll be getting them back soon(if at all) I will finish working on the 15th of next mth so, some day between then and befor uwi starts in september would be best for me. ptown would be ideal. Handheld gamers could meet up. you never know, maby i'll be there as well lol.
So ds/psp owners post what games you own and if youll be willing to give this a try.

most of games on psp i play before which is why i didnt mention them but besides that i havent played loco roco so i wouldnt know. MGS portable ops looks good and maybe GOW but aint see nothin i really like yet.

how is this taking place, will it be in a open space like a mall or in someone home

well like i said i am just throwing the idear out there since i know how hard it is for me to meet anyone to use my ds with, but i think open would be the way to go. like in a food place. We could eat then play. There is jk in ptown but i dont think they would like to have a bunch of ppl hanging out there if they not gona buy anything. Their is pizza hut, kfc(as long as we have food infront of us i dubt they'll complain) a few other lpaces. Their is a mall(i think it's called(rainbow mall)
So where do you all think would be best?
On a side note where are all d pokemon ppl?

It'd be kinda unusual and inviting (to bandits) to see a group of people with DS's, PSP's and games sitting down in a very busy, popular restaurant/public area...

Hmmmm so very tru. So what would you all think? Mall, jk? Maby someone culd talk to d ppl in jk and we could work something out. They may ask that we pay a small fee. Jk looks safe enough though it is a very small place, but then again is not like is 25+ of us gona be there. We go have to start this out very small then if its ah hit then we can do things on a larger scale.

JK is too small, i'd recommend the food court in trinicity if anywhere...i also guessing the virtual zone could work as well seeing as it about 3 footsteps away from KFC in the foodcourt.

well thats a very good idear except for one little thing......i will not be able to go. How ever i am not selfish you all can go and let me know how things went. Though ideas for places that would work in ptown would be nice.

Well ppl keep the idears comming, depending on how much of us that have wifi we could plan to have a online meet. i have pokemon diamond ready to go. Come one ppl show some love. I am trying to get something started here but no man is an island! Hopefully we can get something planed by the 16th. How meny ppl think they will be able to make it to ptown?

i think a GREAT place for us to meet for a hand held thingy would be long circular
has free wifi and lots of places to sit and play and cool food court and stuff.
i havent checked trincity for wifi but i think ill be going there for simpsons tomorow
so ill check one time.

Trincity Wi-fi is in the food court next to the cinema pretty decent speeds.

Well folks my wifi at home is up and running. anyone with pkm diamond/pearl i may be on this evening around 5:30 pm. not sure though (only if dad isnt home lol) so post here or pm me if you wana trade/battle if i cant today i will tell you when i can.

i not entirely sure bout ds but psp needs no wifi we could just use ad hoc. and when allyuh decide a time and place that not in south i in.

The Wi-Fi they talking bout is for online DS play....

mom on her laptop and iam downloading on my desktop
awesometastic.
was doing my usual random research into all things tech
and came across an interesting mod scene
after modding my razor and psp and bunch of other things
think iam gonna hack my evdo card apart for its data sim and throw it in my razorrorr for some netly goodness

doh mash up your evdo card, if you have the money you can get a razor v3c it has evdo capabilities built in

by the way the wifi in trinicity can be accessed from a ds near to the digicel upstairs. never got a good connection in the food court.
and also Crixx_Creww could u tell me how you got that evdo.

Ok folks so my last day of work is this wensday . Then my new job is starts on thursday,its in rio which has like at LEAST 5 cyber cafe's and a new one just oppened. So i will be going wifi(hopefully) very soon. All d pokemon ppl where allya gone? Let me know if you all still living please....

you have official NDS wifi connection or wireless router? if its official NDS wifi connection and installation finished then the reason u get cut off is because your computer is blocking you. When you try to connect to wifi something on your pc will say a new user has connected. Click your name and click allow you should be able to go on fine after that.

get online ppl. we can play that way...and alyuh wouldnt get rob.
Go to some gaming cafe and play handheld. if you want to draw attention (and get rob) find yourself in a food court or KFC.
Im online with my DS with the WiFi adapter...which is on its way to California :P when i get there though we can hookup. Mario Kart/ Metroid?
Might buy a PSP at the end of the year. Might be useful to since i have the beta Siphon Filter and Chains of Olympus here and nothing to play them on :P Long flight to India commin up for xmas and i want to have some games to play other than DS games.

oh apprentice the psp working real sweet have a whole bunch of games and apps and other nonsense i looking to buy a bigger memory stick and an actual game cause the no-umd thing not working for street fighter alpha.
oh and crixx wouldn't the razr need e-vdo capabilities anyway? i mean to utilize the service. and tdog don't bother i have e-vdo now and the speed test in my sig is what i usually get.

wow found alot of wifi sopts in POS and in uwi. could not access them though.
