I know direct tv has some pretty good packages....
you get some premium channels... but then you get Latin American stations as well unfortunately....

DIRECT TV! premium package FTW! you get all the shizzle PLUS when things like world cup and olympics come around they dedicate stations like almost 6-10 just for that coverage.

Kinda costly though...$300/m

i have a Dish Network set up at home, not official, we pay no fees at all though. Dad set it up some time ago, getting it started was real therapy
Dish Network? That is available in Trinidad?

Direct TV is a good option , and even if you don't pay the bill you still get a couple channels free i think.

But personally , i'd rather a Flow 15mbit connection and a subscription to a good news group.. (thats what they call it again?)

on my side of things we most likely gonna switch to directtv soon...

Cuz flow looks like crap... + them fees coming in aint sounding nice :(

but the problem is we go lose them local channels...

Or the other plan was that we keep a very basic flow package and get direct tv anywayz...

Anybody have a link where I could check out directtv (Trinidad) packages?

That news group thing cost wayy too much for me.(I was looking for some alternatives to the torrent network)

but, I think that I'll donate to my fav tracker, become a vip, and watch the speed roll

We've had local DirecTV for over ten years. It's crap.
Unless there's something specific you want from it, like people who want it for La Liga, you're better off even with cable and no movie channels.
