The ati has dx10 and the NVIDIA has dx9.The ATI looks like it is the best to get.Need help picking.
-
7900 GS...full stop.
The ATi card makes no sense, unless you plan on running Vista on that system.
Also, the ATi card's performance pales in comparison to the Nvidia.
So in this case the NVIDIA card is the one to get.
-
i with arc 79gs
i can attest, my games look best on my dad 19" syncmaster :D (thanks again arc!)
plus honestly, you think that ATI gonna come close to running anything using DX10?
case in point - crysis
need i say more?
-
WASD you better hold on to that card tight because believe you me he'll steal it back from you first chance he gets LOL.
-
wait 1 month as the 3850 should be out soon, it should beat everything under $200 usd.
Yes Ati does suck on the high end but in the mid range the 1950 pro is owning, and ati's low end cards are good for the money, the 3850 should do very well in this area.

But the 3850 will not be agp
-
AGP? ???
if you can, it's time for an upgrade. An AGP 7900GS is more expensive than it's PCI-E counterpart. same goes for just about any card that has both AGP and PCI-E versions
I would say if you plan to spend for high end, future-proof yourself...
And yes, I most certainly say choose 7900GS
-
AGP!!! Man change that mobo
-
I wish i had the money but all i can do is upgrade my card this year maybe my cpu to but next yaer xmas will sorely biuld a high end pc.
-
jus wondering...How much is that AGP 7900?
Got an old agp system with a really aged GPU....

Hard luck :(
