For the past 2 months i had been experiencing dsl speeds of less than dial up speeds
i beared it for 3 weeks thinking that it would resolve itself, then i eventually called and complained.
They did a bunch of nonsense and said they would send a tech to check it out. That never happened.
Then for the past 10 days we have had NO internet at all, and my mom now works from home so she needs her net connection.
and everyday for the past 10 days we have been calling and asking for support, and about 5 days ago they said that they would send a tech in 4 days.
Today she went into the office on park street and asked about the status
she was then told that no called was logged by their tech support and it would now take 5 working days for a tech to come.
my mother broke down in tears in the people office and all they had to say was sorry and they would send a tech in 5 days.@!!!
how the f*** is that acceptable!!!!!!!!!
how can they be taking peoples money for a service they have no intention of giving and this be legal??

Crixx by chance you never read any of the posts of mine related to dealing with TSTT? Firstly you have to make sure that the complaint is logged and that the day on which it was logged can be reference, if you have to log it with Line repairs so be it. Also DEMAND that there be a notable record, meaning after your complaint has been logged, call AGAIN and make sure that they have a RECORD of the complaint, if NOT DEMAND that they do so NOW and also request to speak to a manager. Fill out the TATT complaint form and send it in, strangely enough that APPEARS TO WORK. Once all these things are in place (and this is an important one) you would by that point have all the records necessary to go to TSTT and tell them they are REQUIRED to REBATE you for the duration logged. I had no internet for 5 weeks and I called them every other day PLUS, called/wrote to TATT and eventually the problem was rectified.
It's NOT acceptable unfortunately unless you have access to FLOW, you don't got much other options.

looks like its not just residential customers getting it but corporate as well our company has 2 blink accounts (i suggested flow) but because of contractual mumbo jumbo neway we have blink n d d@mn thing only blinking....

I must admit, at work our connections have been dropping like whoa, but at home which is like 10mins away I have no such problem.

Don't believe anything they say unless you can independently verify it.

I don't know if related...but this is the same problem I've had with my carib-link connection...
2months now less than dial-up speeds...
And randomly not getting through at all....

Everytime I call they say the problem will be solved soon...

Well my dad got similar problems from them and the modems is the proble(have eliminated a series of other problems) and wee gettting feed back on the land lines from the modem, Lord have mercy on us, but is either ppl go through the TATT mode of operations for complaining, or when yuh call put on the Ol' N!**A attitude for dem is de only time dey does understnd.

use a mobile phone, if it is supported on you phone, to record the conversations with the help desk and then when you go into the office to make noise play it back for them.

W1ntry and I had the same problem where we ended the last year and began this new year with no internet. 41 days and still no one can give me an answer to what the problem was or ever apologized. I sent a TATT letter as well though it reached after the problem was resolved. I learned from this ordeal to double check and triple check and go in and actually let them show you it recorded to system. It was a good 12 days after my first report and me calling every day before they put the note on the system. I made the guy turn round the monitor so I could see it for myself.

thank god I never had TSTT internet yes, had interserv back in the day and from them went to WOW Net, now I just steal wireless from my neighbours :D

Lol nah I'm not that good yet, but the property next to me is a computer store trying to work on the owner to give me the encryption password lol :P
Other than that the people across the road have one so I steal theirs, and here in Jamaica my landlord has it, so by default I have internet to lol :P Stealing wireless is the real scene
