Title: PSP blues
Post by: QZA on July 04, 2008, 01:29:32 AM
i am fed up with the PSP, so much power so little quality games, I had to resort to pllaying my favorite psone games on my psp becuase none of the psp titles i had (about 15) could hold my interest after i beat it once, i mean even god of war dosent have much replay value and that game was the only unputdownable game ever made for the platform imo.
i finally sold it last week for 1000 cash plus a PSone and 18 games. damn good deal if you ask me, crash team racing is prolly better than 9 out of ten racing games on the psp and metal gear solid has more replay than chains of olympus.. me and a pardner just play marvel vs capcom for an hour straight, was real fun far better than any fighting game on the psp and we are talking about the original playststion here,. i prefer to play PSone games home than have a psp, i will take the 1000 and put a lill 500 with it and get a DS Lite. i could get my game fix on the road with some quailty original DS titles and kill two player fighter games and rpg's on the PSone, i looking to get  FF and SOTN those two games alone worth about 10 psp titles

You bought a PSP for the wrong reasons.  I use mine primarily as a music player and to play emulators.  The CPS2 emulator in particular.
Do you know it supports ad-hoc multiplayer for all emulated games?  Just got the Neo Geo emulator as well.  Now I have Samurai Shodown
(1-5) on the go.  I am sorry, but a modded PSP is a fantastic little piece of hardware, and I can't get enough of mine.

All I need now is a proper movie playing app, and it will be heaven on earth. :happy0203:

i think arcman hit the nail, i wanted original portable games, i prefer emu's on my pc at home on the big screen. i should have bought a DS to begin with. but i do agree  if yo want a portable emu machine you cant beat the psp. and i never got around to playing monster hunter. gow was awsome the first 3 times but once you beat god mode you doh want no lame unlockable. btw there is a decent movie app called psplayer i think, i had it, it playred avi and mpeg but the ui was real shizzy just a list of directories, it looked like command line
