Title: GTX 260 'reloaded' (Core216) vs HD4870 1 GB
Post by: Arcmanov on October 10, 2008, 01:26:46 PM
Very boss review/matchup (http://techreport.com/articles.x/15651/1) of both new cards from red and green.
This one looks like a toss-up at $300 US.

I dunno, if I had $300 US to spend right this second, I would lean towards the GTX260, if only because of better driver support
with the latest WHQL versions.

agree with arc , from an unbiased position for once

with the success of the 4870 and 4870x2 thingy

i would agree that the driver support is all that gives the 216 an advantage
in a situation with all drivers =, then it would be more of a dead even match
