WTF why are some people so sick..........your own daughter.

A Muslim resident of Russia’s St. Petersburg has hired killers to rid him of a daughter who disrespected Islamic laws by wearing short skirts.
The police detained Gafar Kerimov, 46, after he reported that his daughter went missing, but blurted out that the girl was dead already, Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper reported Monday.
The family, ethnic Azerbaijanis, used to have frequent arguments about how the daughter should dress and behave.
Rashida Kirimova, 21, studied medicine at a St. Petersburg school and waved away her father’s criticism when he said her clothes weren't modest enough and were unfit for a Muslim girl.
During winter, Rashida wore high-necked sweaters and long trousers, causing no problems in the neighborhood, but when spring came, she put on a skirt that left her knees exposed.
The father’s Muslim friends again started reproaching him for being negligent and allowing his daughter to walk around dressed like a fallen woman. They said the insult could only be washed away by blood, and introduced Gafar to a killer, who agreed to help him for around $3000.
The killer, Kadyr Suleymanov, seized the girl on April 8th as she was hurrying to classes. He and two accomplices drove her out of the city to a suburban dump, shot her dead and covered her body with garbage.
The body was found by the police after the father confessed he had ordered the killing. Two of three criminals have been detained.

Well then I suggest they deal with him accordingly. If his religious laws are so strict, then what is the punishment for murder? And his 'friend' should be held accountable as aiding in the murder as well (they did introduce him to the killer) so they should suffer the penalties for being accesory to murder. Of course there is no cure to stupidity.

yall remember when they stoned that girl to death in iraq for marrying an outsider... her own family coaxed her to come back home so they could stone her to death... but made sure that while she was being stoned to death, that she remained fully clothed...

Actually I remember a similar incident sadly she was stripped naked and it was all captured on a mobile phone video. Worse yet the police were there and did nothing!

Edit: Seriously, guys. According to Sharia law he's righteous for restoring honour with her murder. Honor killing...they happen all the time.

I posted that video right here, actually.
Either way...people always have and always will use religion and god to justify the most insubstantial or prejudices, superstitions and hatreds (well actually it's vice versa, religion dictates what's socially acceptable and culturally acceptable and then this ignorant superstition becomes the ultimate arbitrator right and wrong). Conservative Islam is the most senselessly violent of these still existing today but that is to say that it is really no different than Levitical law and ancient Jewish practices or the practices of most relgions in their pre-modern forms.
Essentially, what I'm trying to say is that most religions and cultures are guilty of this in all it's varying forms. Unfortunately, it is very hard to be circumspect as regards to it when it is all that individuals have been exposed to and humans are social animals prone to learning from their human environments. So therefore, in the context of one's culture even emulation, self-contradiction, hypocrisy and dissonance becomes "normal" acceptable traits. So yes, unfortunately given all of this it is "justifiable" in a sense of the word although, in my opinion, still very unfortunate.

There is no justification in islam for this!
There is no justification in islam for killing a girl who was raped!
There is no justification in islam for killing a girl for marrying an outsider!
There is no justification is islam for the atrocities committed by suicide bombers, and no place in islam for it either.
Extremism is NOT allowed in islam!
There are some 74 sects of "ISLAM" in general, some to far gone to even be called "ISLAM". (Nation of Islam etc)
This action is no way acceptable by pure islamic standard (Basic principles which is to believe in 1 god and muhammad is his FINAL messenger), and while the prophet's life has been completely recorded and verified true (They use narration chains), you will NEVER EVER FIND ANY OF THIS RUBBISH TAKING PLACE!!!
They bring down the name of Islam with this crap. I just hope people are educated enough to understand this. An unlawful killing can never be justified with religion!
