There's an actually decent Ninja movie coming out later this year, called 'Ninja Assassin (http://www.worstpreviews.com/review.php?id=1268)'. Plus it's only the director's second movie, his first being V for Vendetta. Expect good stuff.

watched it! was ok but after i see him(adkins) in other flicks he was a lil plain, his role was a humble one in this.
i personally not too keen on that ninja assasin u kno, alyu not fed up of cgi, i suspect that bathed in cgi(maybe not bathed but atleast a good rinse - adkins jus naturally sick

Yea i saw this today, was ok. Had a few good stunts in it, plus Adkins loves to perform them flip kicks :awesome:

We will have to agree to disagree on that one.
If you folks want to pass up on a rather entertaining movie based
on Berzerk's 'stellar' review ('NINJARING FOR CAUCASIAN DUMMIES' notwithstanding)
then more power to you. I had a perfectly good time watching it.

Having watched both, I'll peg Ninja Assasin as the greater of the two.
Here's why:
Ninja Assasin has an actual asian as the ninja. lol
CGI aside, both had very similar plots:
*Woman being the root of all evil
*Outcast from the clan basically trying to kill his brethren and the leader
Zero marks for originality but that's what you'd expect from a flick called "Ninja"
Felt like I was sent back in time to the early 90's. Very Van Damme era feel to this movie. (which isn't a bad thing if you liked Van Damme and I did)

The westerner who bests the easterner at his own martial art is beyond clichéd at this point.
Rain (star of Ninja Assassin) was a more natural fit as a ninja imo
