So you know you want to rant and rave about that new movie but fearing the wrath of khan (and spoiler haters the world over)
Here is your space.
Gonna start the ball rolling with Salvation.
OMG, that movie was bad. 10 out of 10. I got my monies worth after the first 30 minutes. Could have walked out of movietowne happy.
In fact, I owe them money. That show was too hot for the price paid. 1000 points for the Arnold inclusion.
They captured the essence of what made T2 so great, even if it was a bit of a rehash.
That said, it was not without its flaws.
Major mega flaw #1
How could a 100 ton, two story terminator "sneak up" on the humans hiding in that old building? The one with the old lady and the food stores in the basement. STEUPS!!

Why would John Connor try to give chase after a skynet air ship in a blackhawk by himself??? Leaving his comrades behind??

Is it just me? Or what really is so special about Kyle Reese and John Connor? They don't seem to be doing anything super special in the fight against the machines.

Marcus is a terminator, ok. So why does skynet feel the need to have a chit chat with him about the success of his mission as an infiltrator?? Not expecting machines to sit down and talk about the days events over a hot cup of cocoa.

Why did the hot asian babe free Marcus??? The concept of a terminator is hardly new and marcus is obviously skynet's creature.

After all John Connor has been through, I see no reason for him to trust a terminator/skynet machine. Why did he trust Marcus?

Would skynet really have such sparse defense @ HQ? A T800 and a T800 model 101? Come on?
Surely had some more ridiculousness but exceptional movie. Action fans the world over must be rejoicing.

I really liked this movie as well. Don't know why it got so many bad reviews.
I want to respond to some of your comments.
1. The Super big robot came on the ship. It transforms and fits snugly on top. After it caught the woman it came off the ship.
3. I thought they both were useless, would have rather Connor died and Marcus lived who was more interesting.
5. Love is blind.
6. He's Batman!!
7. They were doing testing on them and cutting them up to make the infiltrator terminators.

agreed. both john and kyle were a waste of space, hardly performing any feats inspiring of their legendary names and as saviours of the human race.
Not understanding why skynet would see the need to use humans to create infiltrators. They seem to be doing a good enough job obliterating the human race as is. lol

I believe those sorta relate to Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Kyle Reese is often mentioned and his brother is in the TV Show.
And John was trusting a terminator in the show.
But overall the movie was pretty full of moments you mentioned.

Is one thing to trust a terminator that you configured in the future for your protection.
Totally another to trust a random terminator out of the bush.

I added the SPOILER ALERT to the title as well I entered the thread read the first few lines though... *not a bad idea* then continued reading to see the spoiler material... I guess I didn't expect to read as indept a spoiler as what n00b was going on about... so incase anyone just saw the title thought to read it and didn't expect detailed spoilers it's a saver.

sorry for spillin the beans all the same. Do yourself a favour and go see this flick quick. If you're into scifi/action....not to be missed.

Egad. I think you will actually need a whole subforum, if it is we want to post spoilers for different movies.
Only then can you have separate thread titles. It'll be kinda hard to keep track of which movie is being discussed
if its one thread only.
