Title: logitech speakers for desktop
Post by: haterforever on July 10, 2009, 09:43:50 AM
what speakers do yall recommend for gaming and other everday activities ( music, movies, etc). the options i have are

z5500, z5300, g51, z2300.

i don't mind the z2300 since the room is not a big room and i doubt i'll be playin the volume way up for long periods

z2300 is an excellent choice. If you heavy into the precise speaker placement to get maximum surround sound effects you may want to look at the z5300 or the z5500, but if you looking for something that will play extremely hard while maintaing clarity and heavy bass with minimal distortion, the z2300 is where its at. I use them in a medium sized room and I am unable to play them past half for more than a couple minutes as I get a headache with extremely loud sound. When paired with a good sound card too, you're unstopable.

It sure would. I've employed that very Crystallization feature on my X-fi that Hard talk about there for my Z2300. Between that and adjusting the tone options, you get a pretty decent sound setup.
