Saw this news story 2 years ago but noticed it was never posted here. This was truly a Sick Sad World story....bonus video at the end if you can stand to watch this foolishness.....

A 17-year-old girl has been stoned to death in Iraq because she loved a teenage boy of the wrong religion.

As a horrifying video of the stoning went out on the Internet, the British arm of Amnesty International condemned the death of Du?a Khalil Aswad as "an abhorrent murder" and demanded that her killers be brought to justice.

Reports from Iraq said a local security force witnessed the incident, but did nothing to try to stop it. Now her boyfriend is in hiding in fear for his life.  

Miss Aswad, a member of a minority Kurdish religious group called Yezidi, was condemned to death as an "honour killing" by other men in her family and hardline religious leaders because of her relationship with the Sunni Muslim boy.

Yeah boy this is depressing eh will post some happy news when I find it lol.

Women does real get the shaft in some of these countries yes.

yall forgot about this??

this was indeed posted on gatt and discussed and had big arguament over this an thing :(

it still rings in my head everytime some horror story comes out of the middle east.

Hmm I searched for Khalil Aswad but it did not bring up anything in the forums...merge if you need to.

Them police just watch as she was being killed...shame.

"He who is without sin cast the first stone" hmm guess they doh believe in that one.

What about he who looks on and does nothing is just as guilty?

I can't remember what movie/game I heard this in: Evil wins when good men stand by and do nothing

Yeah it doh even matter what religion you are a part of, some things are just plain wrong....
